Huh? I don't think there was a year between CAW pt. 2 and CAW pt. 3.
No, a year between when Splinter (with Shredder's unwitting help) knocked the watertower down in "Shredder Strikes" and "CAW" Parts 2 and 3. I think that's what Jephael meant, bro.

You'll be sorry, especially if they say different at the start of 'Rogue in the House'. I firmly believe that he is not a worm clone this time. But that the worms just facilitate faster healing. We'll see. Even though we'll probably have to wait a few months for 'Rogue in the House'.
It won't bother me if he is just using them to heal, either way it's a nice nod to the comics. Which is exactly why I like this show, it's based on the comics without being forced to stick to them completely. Even if the worms are just used for healing, the same concept is being used. There's not that much difference between being fully brought back as a clone by worms, and being repaired from near death by worms. I just think it'd make more sense if he died, even though they'd never be able to come out and say that directly in the cartoon.

If Shredder could survive that explosion, then that takes away any sense of danger that any character in the show has, since there's no chance of anyone dieing. I guess that goes for Hun too. Even though he should be dead, in a coma, or at least arrested, I'm sure we'll see him again. Sure it's a cartoon, and the TMNT universe is pretty weird to begin with, but it should have at least some sort of sense of reality.

Shredder and Stockman are a different case than Hun. Unless the writers prove me wrong, I'm sure he's dead

Well, Karai's men simply blew out the bottom. I don't think the entire thing came down. I'd have to watch it again, but even if they didn't show any damage the next time they showed the tower, it's a mild error.

I agree, it doesn't make much of a difference.

As for the episode, well, I thought it was dissappointing. It all felt very rushed, I think they should have used their time in Part 2 better, instead of trying to cram too much story in one episode.

Also, I didn't like how Baxter cowered at the sight of 'the Shredder'. It's been made clear in past episodes that Baxter certainly doesn't fear the Shredder, hell, in Secret Origins Part 3, he attacked the Shredder the second he got a chance...And he was just a head on a robotic spider body there. You'd think he'd have some more self-confidence now that he has an Utrom androskeleton, especially after we saw how much strength he now possessed (What a Croc). Maybe he was just scared because he thought the Shredder to be dead, but it still kinda bothered me.

Karai being Shredder's 'daughter' was a nice twist, but I still prefer Karai as Shredder's equal, someone to 'clean up his mess' (Also, I would've liked to see Shredder kick Karai's ass and reclaim his throne, but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen.). I would've liked to see Karai's daughter also, the Elite could've kidnapped her instead of killing her, but I suppose she (the daughter) wouldn't fit in the current storyline. Oh well.

(BTW, I think 'Karai' is just pronounced with an 'R'. I doubt Eastman and Laird cared much for the proper Japanese pronunciation. I think if they wanted it to be pronounced 'Kalai', they would've just spelled it with an 'L'.)

Splinter could've just stayed home. He kicked, like, one guy, and then basically told Leo it was okay to act like Raph, since Leo can do no wrong.

(And yeah, I also noticed how suddenly Karai's men became a lot weaker.)

I would've preferred it if the Elite refused loyalty to Karai, like Hun did. After all, they're SHREDDER's men, that's something I've always liked about them.

I also thought the animation was kinda...lacking, especially when compared to last week's ep. I mean, seriously, check out the way Karai and her men were reflecting the bullets with their swords.

I really liked Shredder in the tank with the worms though, it was my favorite part of the episode. The expression on his face was so freaky and cool. The Saki androskeleton was also nice to see.

...

Okay, a lot of bitching. Maybe it seems like I hated this episode, well, I certainly didn't, I really liked it. I just had really high hopes of this episode and, well, I was greatly dissappointed. Still, one of the better episodes of Season Two.

BTW, Hun is alive. You heard him moan as he lay on the car, and well, this is a cartoon. He's just been arrested.

So in fact Karai should be pronouced "Ka-la-e" or something simliar....

Kind of like how on Inu Yasha Kirara is pronouced "Ki-la-la"

I could be wrong..... but I had to say something its been driving me nuts *lol*
I do know Japanese culture, having lived in Japan and all. I won't say I'm a PERFECT source as it WAS years ago, but the pronunciation of Karai sounded correct to me...it's not that r sounds like l but that l and r are just interchangable to the point that usualy you can't tell the diffrence when you say it. I mean try saying Cal-eye normaly (or quickly without putting much thought into how you say it), without putting emphasis on the L and then do the same with Car-eye. You'll notice while they might not sound exactly the same they sound just enough alike that they can be VERY easily confused with eachother. The L/R thing is ESPECAILY apparent in a name like Leni/Reni.

Interesting round of revelations this ep offered. So much for thinking that Oroku Saki and the Red Utrom were seperate entities!

I also knew it Karai was pronounced as such, cause I took Japanese in college. The Japanese don't have a sharp "r" sound in their vocabulary. Even though they have the "r" in her name, as opposed to an "l", the sound of that consonant is really a slurred "r" sound that ends with and "r" sound. Korean "r's" are kind of like that too.

Since when was Hun annoying? First people think Stockman is becoming annoying and now you think Hun is annoying? Even I think Hun is a perfect henchman to depend on. he's so loyal to Shredder he won't obey anyone else who would take his master's place in role.

but don't be too sure that he's dead. If that Car didn't broke his fall then he be a goner. Injured but I dought it's his death. Karai good but she sorta has a difficult choose between serving her master or fight along with the turtles.

It's not over until the big guy roars.
he's not so much anoying to me as he's just dead pan....me I'm not one of the baxter haters frankly i love him more then any character on the new show besides Splinter & Karai...but perhaps my reasons for disliking hun is because i like Baxter so much.

Very well. Just as long no won't calls him a rip off of some wrestler.

Ugh... I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings but this episode was terrible. From all the episodes so far this one had probably the most rushed plot and a lot of the dialogues seemed ridiculous to me.

Yeah it seemed odd that Hun didn't look to fall that far and then Karai and her men jumped out the same hole on their way out

really unless they didn't bother with perspective at all, Hun, at landing, didn't look like he was far down. It's not that the fall seemed short, but that, when looking down from the window, he didn't look like he was THAT far away. So it's hard to say...

Oh and did anyone notice that when Dragon-face is fired at by Hun he drops his rocket launcher and dives but then in the same shot the rocket launcher magically vanishes and Dragon-face stands up again holding it?

I'm pretty sure the fall was far down. But you know how writers are. they just don't wanna waste time showing him fall all the way.

And the way things look the Purple Dragons are in shambles. Last thing I expected was Dragonface turning on Hun the way he did

That's exactly what I said I didn't mean...it wasn't that the fall animation was too short, but that the prespective was WAY off when looking down from the window AFTER he landed, it looked like the cars were WAY too close to the hole in the window the fall itself makes no diffrence. If it was just the fall animation "lazy animators" could just show him falling out of the window, do a cut scene to him falling on the cop car, and then show a TINY hun from FAR FAR above when the view was shown from the hole in the window, that would have been MUCH easier.

I finally saw the episode. I think the worms were used for more than healing. COnsidering there was nothing left after the building destoryed. He would have to be alive to heal. I for one think it totally regenerated him from some scrap dna.

Hun groaned after he hit the police car when he fell down that building. LEo also kicked HUn down in shredder's building in Shredder strikes part 1. Remember when Leo was kicking and kicking and kicking Hun until he fell onto the glass which went into shredder's building and Hun fell in.

It didn't look like the cars were that close to the whole in the wall.
