I loved this ep!!! I thought his name was Klaw??? Bah..I need to have closed captioning on when I watch this show.

Kluh eh? Hrm...If I had known he was the Hulk I would have rooted for him since Im an original Hulkamaniac.

Seriously tho...some of my fave moments:

Ve-Sama telling Leo "Lets be friends!" awww...good thing he doesn't remember.

Splinter's extremely sarcastic pizza line...mmmm Pepperoni and Kharma...

The fact that in the end they wore the Ninja Knights outfits...

Killer episode. Not just the best Mikey episode, but IMO one of the best of the series. When Mikey was kicking Kluh's ass, I was up cheering for him.


Also, nice job to the animators fitting those BattleNexus Armor Turtle toys into the show.

Maybe some of Kluh and his father Mo...Moz (oh you know Moe ). But those aren't that important. What I'd like to see (and probably pretty much everyone here are those moments up in the mountains when Leo had that intense look and said that "We only have each other..." line, especially the closeup of his eyes when he said it. And possibly that shot of him being hugged by Michaelangelo. Is his shell hurt that much where it brings him pain if someone touches it? Or was that just well...Mr. Big Tough Leo who doesn't like hugs anymore?

Oh Man!!!! What An Episode, Where Do I Begin?

The Training With "master" Leo Was Incredible. It Was So Perfectly Intense. When Raph Threw His Sai And Donny Tried To Jump On Him, I Was Like Omg!!! I Love Stuff Like That From The Turtles. And The Beauty Of It All Is That We Often Dont Get Moments Like This, So When We Do, Its Mighty Special. (any One Remember The Training Scene In "A Better Mouse Trap", When Splinter Kicked All The Turtles Ass?) It Was Interesting To See Raphs Annoyance With Leos Attitude And See Splinter Mention A Future Conversation About It. Did Anyone Else Find It Funny When Raph Referred To Leo As "mister Intensity" And His Training As "war Games"? Lol, I Did.

Quick Side Note: After Seeing Mikey Watching The Silver Sentry Cartoon, I Thought; Wouldn't It Be Cool To Have A Silver Sentry Toon Air On Fox (same Animators Etc.) And On That Note ; A Solo Yusagi Toon As well.

The 1st Thing I Noticed When I Logged In Today Was That The 1st 12 Votes Were Casted For The Splinter Joke. That Was So Classic. I Love His Sarcasm.

How About Mikey Standing In front Of His Statue? That Was Awesome.

Cool To See That Leo Is Teaching Mike Everything He Has Realized After The "exodus". It Turned Out As A Huge Help For Mikey And Probably Won Him The Rematch.

They Probably Didn't Show The Leo Fight Because Focus Wanted To Be Left On Mikey And Not Leo Again As Much.

The Fight..The Fight...The Fight. Mikey Got Smashed!!! I Know Those Heavy Mikey Fans Were Cringing When Mikey Was Getting Punched Against The Force Field. I Was Shocked. It Was So Well Animated (but Yet I Expected Top Notch Animation, Since The Entire Battle Nexus Saga Is Top Notch As Well). Who Saw Mikey Use His Nun-chucks (i Have No Idea How To Spell This) With His Feet To Hit Kluh? I Was Impressed. And When Mikey Kicked Himself Away From Kluh And Swung His Chucks In Ready Mode, It Remined Me Of Neo When He Discovered He Was The "one" In The Matrix. It Was Crazy When Mikey Jump Kicked Through Kluh's Spear And Into His Chest , To Defeat Him.

I Loved The Episode, Again Like Last Weeks "I,monster" This Is A 10x Repeater. As Soon As It Was Over, I Re winded And Watched Again.

Can Anyone Post A Screen Cap Of The Drawing Of Mikey On Kluh's Practicing Wooded Punching Bag (the One He Cut In Two). I Want To Make Limited Edition Avatars From That Drawing. The Quality Isnt Important. All I Basically Need Is The Outline.

The episode was awsome, kinda like seeing Leo against Ultimate Ninja only this time it's Mikey against Kla.

And the whole episode was like seeing Hulk Hogan making a cameo i nthe episode.

I recognize some of the warriors from the first Nexus Epsiodes.

And I laugh with the whole Battle Nexus joke. Tortering Muikey with stuff he'd like to do.

Little Daimo Jr. is now an innocent child. Luckily he doesn't remenber his first fight with Leo nor his team up of Drako. Which good cause he's no longer an a**hole to his own father.

And now Mikey won't stop talking about this one, since now he has a trophy and a medal to brag about.

Next week is the first Halloween episode!

Go Mikey!! I knew he could do that, they just don't let him!

My typical "snap out of it, Leo!" moment at the beginning of the ep. "Thank you, Splinter, for TALKING SOME SENSE into that guy!"

I was surprised Ve remembered anything.

This is the second time (that I know of) that they've used one of the better action figure designs for character designs (at the end, the robes). Looked very nice. I'm still trying to look up the kanji on those (couldn't see the characters very well in the pics I have). Don's says something about "genius", I got that much at least. Maybe it'll be easier now that they're on the show. I'll try to find post some stuff on that in a little while.

I thought they said "Claw". Guess not. I'm having problems with my closed captioning on the capture card (probably just need to reboot, but I can't right now), so I can't check that, not that it's all that reliable anyway..

Did they forget that Levrons (is that it?) can shrink? When Mike first met Kluh (I guess that's his name), he was a little guy, and then he grew into his current form. I always thought that was pretty interesting. Probably not very useful to this ep, though.

Mike saying "Uh, are we still talking about me?"; it was supposed to be funny, but it was definitely pretty much on target. Leo was talking about himself, and how he feels right now. I don't think he's right, though. About each other being all they have.

Raph talking to Leo about "this attitude of yours"... isn't role-reversal great? They should do it more often.

Oh the Gyoji?! WTH! How did he come back? Wasn't he um...well absorbed by Ultimate Drako?

Yeah, I did a double-take at the gyoji... "Aren't you kinda... dead?" I guess not. He's kind of a strange entity, anyway, maybe you can't really kill him.

OK, first off. The episode opened with the TMNT training, and I was immediately floored. The animation was excellent! Just the motions and the... *drools* Awesome stuff.

LOL, yeah, me too. I think I took fifteen minutes to watch that, I kept rewinding to see the sequences again..

That said, I'm glad Leo agreed to help, and that hug from Mikey was adorable.

Even though the colorist(s) got confused, and colored Mike's arm around Leo's neck in Leo's skin tone. :p

The fighting was great, the animation fluid... only shot I really didn't like was that weird Mikey expression where he opened his mouth and stuck his tongue out while taking Kluh out... like he was trying to turn his face inside out.

*nods* I was kinda perplexed by that, the rest of the ep is animated so well, what happened there?

I guess having his life on the line is a good motivator. ^^

I think it was more of the threat of having his family's life on the line. He seemed about ready to give up, otherwise. Kind of alarming.

And Leo's reaction to the UN might help him come to terms with the fact that people can change...maybe even Karai (but probably not)

I could tell that this was a great episode, even though I was chatting on the phone with my friend at the same time. (I’ve got it recorded, and I’ll rewatch it later.) So I don’t have a big, long review. I think everyone’s said everything already anyway. And I agree!

And there were several points when my friend had to ask what I was laughing at/silent about. This really was a great mixture of action, character work, and humor. Ve-sama was SO adorable. And that armor was awesome, I’m gonna need some shots of that.

LOL, no, sorry, I just meant I didn't want to sound like a broken record and debate the whole Leo/Karai thing again and again.. I wasn't sure if you meant that Karai probably wouldn't change, or that Leo probably wouldn't come to terms with that. If this season's dealings with the Foot turns out to be the train wreck it sounds like it's going to be, I just hope it gets smoothed out by the end.

This episode made me excited for the season all over again. It is nice to see the bond of a family despite the fact they are all sick of of Mikey's arrogance of his win and his disinterest in training.
Leo really stepped up. He opened up to April in Sons of the silent age and now again somewhat to Mikey. I had to laugh at the line Mikey had after Leo gave him that speech on the hill top. "We still talking about me here?
Unfortunately I had to run out just after the episode was over so all the great points about today were already made.(How dare work conflict with TMNT!)
The way it opened really threw me. Before it was revealed as a training session I honestly thought there was a major confrontation between the bros.because of all the setup with Leo's new Attitude.
Mikey really is to cute. I think they play up his personality so well.
The whole dialogue after they find Mikey watching TV was really enjoyable.
Raph's line about Leo "Mr. intensity's little war games" and all the talk about the things Mikey had done with that trophy like putting it on the TV and making a knecklace.He tried but the chain would break
Ironic how that conversation led into another battle nexus journey.
Poor Mikey was banging his head on the wall, you gotta feel a little bad for him.
The animation during the fight was incredible and I did notice that akward mouth position. I think they just exagerated a little too much
Anyway this was definitely an episode to talk about.
On to the Halloween epsisode which I love! For some reason it keeps reminding me of the Ghostbuster's special from way back.

After seeing Mikey fight in this episode, all I have to say is this:

Awesome, awesome episode, I strongly agree with everything that has been said. However I could feel the writers' stress trying to fit this all into one episode, the pacing kind of got a little frantic, going back and forth between NYC and the Battle Nexus, basically connecting all the dots of the plot. This episode could have even even been extended into two. Oh well, it was still really good, I really appreciated the focus on Mikey and Leo.

am i the only one who was annoyed w/ splinter in this ep? 1st he stops the broaching of the subject we know the family has to talk about. raph & leo were finally going to talk about it, leo was about to say something, & before we could hear a word from leo's lips, splinter interupts w/ the obvious. yes splinter, we know that you all have to talk w/ leo, that's what was about to happen! well, i suppose he thought that raph & leo would get into a physical fight, & maybe they would've, but he could have at least let us see how leo was going to react before he intervened! ah well...

also, i was kinda disgusted at splinter's (& raph's & don's, but i'm focusing on splinter's) refusal to help mikey. yeah, so mikey was goofing off, so what? as mikey's father & teacher splinter should've at least given mikey a serious talk explaining why, making mikey feel guilty, & then helping mikey to train. i mean, training's what they all want him to do, so when he's finally going to do it, they don't simply refuse, but make fun of him. splinter was almost cruel!

this ep made my heart go out to leo even more (& mikey too) but so much for my hopes for raph. grrr, i'm mad at him. how many times did he hit mikey in this one? or express pleasure at the idea of mikey being pummled? for a guy who really does love & is overprotective of his bros, he's got an odd way of showing it. it's like he's becoming a characature. people who love their bro's don't really enjoy seeing them in pain, do they? & i was so proud of his "if leo gets in trouble i'm the 1st one in there, but rt now it looks like he's got more than one monster to work out of his system" line. sigh, now i understand what leo's problem is "when all we've got is each other..." (aww!), but i just don't get raph.

i really did enjoy leo's little speech/character insight. he finally said what we all know he feels about his bros...i just hope he remembers that he's one of them, & if he goes down in some insane urge to kill off all guys labeled "bad," then the rest of them will still go down...not that they would ever kill leo off or anything, but still. i wonder if mikey will tell to others what leo said? it'd be cool if there's an ep where they're all talking about leo, trying to get into his head to figure out how to help him. wow, i've got waaay too much emotional attachment in what happens to these guys.

Unfortunately, that's the question of the year

The most likely time he got it (if you only pay attention to the script) is in Exodus pt. 2 or Dragon's Brew. But if it's the latter, that means they used the wrong model sheets for the first several epsiodes of the series. Plus it was a dumb thing to make a permanent design change over. Worse has happened to the guys and they haven't changed anything. So...

I Dont Think That Ultimately Splinter Was Not Going To Train Mikey. Splinter Was Feeding Mike Some Of His Own Medison. Just A Couple Of Minutes Ago Mikey Was Refuseing To Train, And Then Kluh Appears And Lays It On Him And Suddenly He Wants To Train. This Is What Splinter Has Been Trying To Tell Mikey His Whole Life. Train So That You Can Be Prepared For Anything, Not Train When You Know Something Is Comeing.as Far As Don And Raphs Refusal, They Are Not Obligated And They Know That Mikey Is A Ninja And The Injuries He May Incur Are Relative To What We May Call Severe. So To Them Its Worth Haveing Mikey Loss Just So He Cant Brag. Which Has Probably Been Bothering Them For The Last Year And A Half Or So.
