Spoiler:
Hahah... I can actually imagine the Hun/Garbage Man relasionship. Very creepy, yet funny.

Garbage Man: Garbage...is...POWER!!!
Hun: ...now do you know why we disowned this guy from our family?

*tries not to laugh to loudly*

Wow, the plot sounds pretty uniqe. I wish I could see these things down under, but oh well...we're currently getting reruns of season 4, but that's it. Oh well...another six months and I'll be seeing this. Horray *waves flag about* [/sarcasm]

Weary after their first battle with the new Shredder, the Turtles doubt they can defeat him. To lift their spirits, Splinter shares a tale of the Turtles’ toddler days. The story reveals that though the Turtles were small, they overcame impossible odds to vanquish Foot evil, though they may not remember it.

Plothole ensures. They first meet The Foot in episode 1 not when the kids -_- and I hate kid TMNT episodes.

Reminds me of how the Archie series went out with a kid TMNT story. Cant complain it isn't FF and this IS what I wanted.

Ah but they didn't realize they had encountered foot soldiers as children. Just like they don't realize that they had met Casey and influenced not only his fighting style...but his yell of "Gungula!!" when they were kids.

Yeah but if Splinter knew I'd assume he would have told them when they met them in Thing's Change. Plus why would the Foot beat up a bunch of little kid turtles <_<

hehe Casey was such a geek as a kid

Splinter is known for keeping secrets from his sons. He always thinks up one lame excuse after another. He knew about the Ninja Tribunal, but didn't say a word. He knew that Shredder wasn't human but...didn't tell his sons a thing.

Splinter knew about the foot cuz of his time with Yoshi.

The turtles were probably AWARE of the foot clan cuz Im sure Splinter would have told them at least part of his origin.

But still.. Splinter is known for not telling his sons SQUAT over the years and then revealing what he knew at the fraking last minute. It's not till the Ninja Tribunal story that Splinter (and Ancient One) tell the turtles about the TRUE Shredder. He knew all this time but did he tell them? Nope!

So now the turtles will find out they encountered foot soldiers when they were young but seemingly forgot all about it. Splinter probably did a Prof. Xavier and erased their memories or something.

See Splinter is an arse when it comes to revealing all the stuff he knows. Otherwise he wouldn't be up there in the arse dept with Superman (the dickiest of them all), Prof. "Hey Scott! You have another brother but Im gonna erase your memories of him for your own good.." Xavier, Iron Man, and Reed "I made this interdemensional prison thing and now my family has joined Capt. America's side...oops!" Richards.

I know. I feel the same. What were they thinking? only 13 episode and they have to waste precious airtime with Nano and garbageman. Didn't the writers and producers know that most of the fans hated those characters with a passion... and why no Rat King, they obviously never read these threads.

I stand corrected! There are filler episodes and they do go back to New York!

The summaries sound fantastic, especially the 2-part finale! Looks like everything will be wrapped up. Heck the TMNT may even get peace with Karai and the Foot Clan looking at how things seem to be going in those summaries!

The DVD set can't come soon enough!

Nano fits into a comedy episode, as does Garbageman, not the "serious" episodes they were in last time.

What difference would reading the threads make a year or more after the episode has gone into production? All this posting is reactionary. There's nothing they can do about it but pull the episode, but if they did that, people'd start complaining that they didn't get to see all the episodes. As I said, at least they're doing something interesting with the characters this time around. Nano in the hands of Stockman and Bishop is better than Nano just going nuts looking for his 'daddy', and at least the spin on Garbageman gives the character some depth outside of "I'm gonna kidnap bums and make them slaves, just like the old days!"

Everyone pisses and moans that they're not getting the Lost Season, and then when they see that two episodes come up that they don't like the SOUND of WITHOUT having even SEEN the episode, they act as though some sort of crime against humanity has happened. Take a pill! Most - with the exception of a few - found Fast Forward to be better than they'd anticipated (BETTER doesn't mean good/great/whatever) when it finally came around, and AT LEAST this is a return to the TMNT2K3 everyone wanted, so just cool it until you've seen it, and then go bash crazy for all it matters... at least then you'll have an EDUCATED opinion of it.

I read it like I said and it made me cry a bit...tears of joy mind you...and I think it's great that they are bringing nano and garbage man back..perhaps they will help in the last episodes..
I'd really like to see bishop and baxte rhelp the turtles to and I'd like baxter to die in battle....it would just be fitting.

Wow, i read a few of the summaries and this sounds like it is going to be great. Hopefully the best 2k3 turtle episodes we ever get...I dont know if that makes me happy or sad! I hope this reaches the intensity of episodes like Same as it Never Was.

The Rat King probably was planned to be in season 5, in some way. The fact that the writers were forced to shorten this season by 13 episodes probably erased his chances. We just have to hope after F.F., the Turtles will return to present day NY and we'll see Rat King again.

I'm pretty sure that once the movie has been and gone we'll be seeing an all new animated incarnation if it continues. TMNT2k3 looks like it'll finish with FF.

True...but the Archie series had some good kid Rurtle books. I wish they'd have been adapted for the new show, especially the "How they TMNT got their colors." an awesome TMNT (Toddler Mutant Ninja Turtles) story

Except all the info we have says that Season 5 was always only 13 episodes, so nothing was really cut.

Maybe we'll see Rat King in the big finale with all friends and foes?
