I found it, it's Turtle Soup Book 4, Feb 92.
It's the last story. Thoughts on Paper. By Michael Gaydos and Dan Berger. Nicely drawn, too.
I forgot it was in color! Kew!

Yeah, I started reading them again, now that I got them out of the box. May as well, now that the movie trailer has surfaced. And so they may enter the mainstream consciousness again. What's next, will the Turtles get interviewed on the Today show? xD

finally got this issue, about 3 weeks later than everyone else! bout frickin time!

i enjoyed it, only two things wrong:

1. lack of letters page
2. the print seems to be really faded all the way through, anyone else's like this, or did i get the last ish before the printer ran out?

and my guess would be that it takes place after splinter died...
