I am not biased to one decade as some people on here are. You are an idiot if you claim the 80s were the greatest time to be alive, and you are even more of an idiot if you say the 90s were the most violent decade in history. And beaker, I seriously doubt that when time changed from 1989 to 1990, you stopped liking everything.

I think it is stupid to debate on wich decade is good and wich sucks. Every decade have it's good and bad sides. Personally, I like the movies that were done in the 80's.

Hey, I just said they debuted in the late 80's, I didnt say they got big in the late 80's. They actually technically debuted in 1987, but didnt get mainstream til 1990. After the TMNT thing blew up and died down, then the Simpsons came in to full force mainstream.

Look at all the other posts, obviously there is a deep affection for th e80's. And I was just pointing out how the 90's killed what was good in the 80's media/entertainment wise.

Besides, arent you always talking about that Nazi/WW2 era stuff? Man, it doesnt get more disturbing than that period.

Well the First world war was worse than second... OF course, the peace treaty they made then caused the second world war.

Yea, exactly Karpo....some people actually call the 2 wars just one great war with a 20 year half time....to get ready again...and surprisingly, this belief is becoming more and more accurate...

Oh yea...Simpsons were in 1987, forgot about those 5 minute shorts no one cared about....lmao.....in 1990, the Simpsons started getting a sense of humor and made people laugh like they are still doing today.

I'm always talking about Nazi era stuff? I mentioned I had an interest in that time period maybe three times on here. I hardly call that "always talking"

Don't even get me started on that topic
Some historians would say that the war that began in 1914 did not end until the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991.

The 80's were a great time to be a kid, but not so much a parent/adult...

I feel bad for kids that were more or less raised within the 90's. Instead of Fraggle Rock, Muppet Babies, Transformers, and other good stuff there was...Power Rangers, Barney, Telletubies, Pokemon, etc. Yikes!

I really wish you would get off the "90s suck" warpath. Lighten up man, the 90s weren't all about Power Rangers and Barney.

Well I don't think 90's suck, But definetly something happened in Hollywood since the best action movie were done in the 80's. 2 good ones in the 90's come in mind: T2 and the Matrix.

Nothing better than the 80ies!!!!!!!!

I wish they would come back, okay I think such Things as "Neighbours", Den Harrow, limahl can stay away but the Toys for Example were much better than the toys are today.

By the Way:
Both of my Websites have something to do with the 80ies!
U see I`m serious!
