Yes! Yes I did. I so wish they used his first kick in the US version. He appeared more skilled, somehow...

I liked the bit were Leo blocks an attack and then does a nice roundhouse, but cutting Mikey's brilliant nunchuck scene was a crime.
Thankfully they corrected that with the uncut DVD release in the UK.
I have both the US and UK versions on DVD, and the picture quality is far superior on the UK version, so for those in the US with a multi region player, I'd advise you to get a UK copy as it's the best version of the movie.

For those in the know, how is the UK theatrical rerelease different from the original? I know the big deal was the inclusion of the nunchuck scenes but did it edit out these extra scenes as a consequence?

Actually, it wasn't a pipe; It's Donatello's bo. You can see the rope tie (if i'm saying this right) on the stick she's holding while laying on the ceiling pipes. And when she hits the foot soldier, the weapon is clearly long enough to be donatello's bo. finally, donatello is never seen with it on his shell when he does his cartwheel and attacks the foot soldiers before April hits the foot soldier Mikey sets up for her.
