I thought it was great, not the greatest, but I really enjoyed it. Two thumbs up.

But I just want to know why the helk did the animation change? The new animation in BTTS and FF is horrible compared to the first few years. And if it was because the budget was cut. Why was it cut? TMNT was one 4kids most watched shows.

Wait, what? That doesn't make any sense. Turtles Forever was not at all a product of Viacom and I am completely confused why you would infer that it was.

The 2k3 turtles are suppose to be 5 ft tall. This was confirmed in junklantis episode when Don said there height. They towered over everyone else.

Oh. Well, I didn't think it was. It was gobo's comment that seemed like it was implying that.

I thought that it was an all 4Kids effort and they just upped the budget. I thought gobo was saying that Viacom also had a hand, which, if true, would have been news to me, but also would have made sense.

But it doesn't make any sense. The project was started and completed long before Viacom was part of the picture. Even assuming 4Kids knew that the Viacom sale was a possibility, that didn't give them any extra money to work with, as the sale didn't actually happen until after the project was in the can.

Had to vote for the first one. I think that is why my art and writing muse are in the direction of our green heros.

Cuz the credits said so? "© Viacom 2009". You don't remember that?

Rarely has Don ever not been exact.

Everything TMNT is going to say Viacom now. That's how it works.

Even the Mirage comics have been saying Viacom on them for a few issues now.

I don't remember the exact quote, but I do know that Don is capable of joking/exaggerating for humorific effect.

But back on topic. While I did love it, it could've been better. I know the voices have been harped on alot, but imagine how aweomse it would have been to have the whole cast back...

Then, the biggest bone-head move (for me) was having random unknown mutants in the OT world when they could've have a bunch of random classic baddies. Hell, I woulda been happy with "Ray" or Tempestra or some mad scientist.

That's what I don't get either. It would have been so easy to show like Metalhead, Tragg, Stockman, Leatherhead, and Rat King all up to something. Then we'd get the fun of wondering what the heck they were doing working together.

If they had used a known character, people then would have been complaining that they were defeated too easily. But, personally, I was halfway surprised that they didn't use Baxter for that scene for another one of those wonderful "What the shell?" interjections.

Alright. So, I'll go with my backup theory of 4kids putting all their eggs in the Forever basket and letting BttS cruise along on empty. Good?

5ft sounds right. If you watch even April towers over them. They made them taller when fast forward started. Actually Raph was the tallest one.

Speaking of which, I wish the OT guys woulda said something about them when they jumped on the Turtle Van... it would have proven my "this movie is post-season 7" theory.
