I have a Genesis, Sega CD, 32X, SNES, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Game Gear, N64, Dreamcast, Playstation, and Playstation 2 (and I'm eventually getting a GameCube). It's hard to pick just one favorite since I have so many systems, but one of my favorites is the Genesis since it has so many great games.

My favorite console was the GameCube, but since GameStop was created, SNES rules once again!

NES, SNES, N64, GC, GBC, GBA and some old Game & Watch thingie.

NES is prob. the best, mostly because it has this simply kickassing game called Life Force: Salamander. It's nearly exactly like the Gradius games, only that it's so much better :p
SMB 3 is THE game though, but I usually pick the Mario Allstars when I want to play that game (although Koopa/Bowser looks friggin awesome with the white hair he had in the NES).
The SNES is ultra cool too, so I'd actually call them even Obvious reasons like Supa Metroid, Link to the Past and that stuff.
But the N64 isn't to be frowned at either, SM 64 and the legendary OoT are alone good reasons.

I can't really pick :p

Hmmm, I like NES, SNES, and Genesis all equally as well, and Gamecube comes in second, N64 just plain sucks...as well as sony and microsoft, lol...

Dude, I would so want a Neo Geo now, that system was amazing, let alone for its time, that system had all those great fighting games...

Krang, what games are you planning on getting for GC?

I agree, it was and still is a great system. If I ever get enough money, I'd like to buy a 4(or 6)-slot MVS arcade cabinet.

Mostly first-party games like Mario Party 4, Super Mario Sunshine, Wario World, and Super Smash Bros. Melee. I'm also interested in getting any new Sonic games that Sega releases on the GC.

Oh man, I just got my GBASP, and its friggin awsome!!!! You should get one, but sell the regular one first. I sold mine for $70 but I sold it before most people knew about SP.

All I have is a PC. Which suits me fine, cause I have about zero interest in most console the games. And the ones I am interested in are ported to PC.

MGS and MGS2 are really the only games I like on a console, and guess what, they're on PC too. Though I hear the PC MGS2 sucks.

Ok Krang, I definately reccomend SSBM, the monkey ball series, and sonic mega collection for the sonic fan, heh. There are plenty of other good games for GC as well, just depends on what you are looking for...

Hey, for any of you guys that play pc games, what games do you play most often, and are they multiplayer as well? I am into Age of Mythology now, ensemble did a good job once again...

I have everything since that weird system with the controller that looks like a tv remote, except Dreamcast. Currently I play my Gamecube and X-Box the most. I can't remember the last time I've played my PS2. It's basically a dvd player now. I just don't see anything worth owning that isn't on the other two systems which are always superior. I play my GC alot with Animal Crossing and now Zelda. My X-Box time is spent with NHL2k3 and sometimes Splinter Cell with quite a bit of The Elders Scrolls III: Morrowind tossed in. I'm personally beginning to enjoy the GCN out of all the systems ever. But it's still got aways to go before surpassing NES let alone SNES. My list goes like this:
5. X-Box
4. N64
3. GCN
2. NES
1. SNES
As you can see PSX or PS2 aren't even listed. They just haven't given me as much entertainment.

Ignorance my *behind*!

I can honestly say that game consoles are starting to become sellouts now. The games today are a bit too real for my tastes. The only modern game I'm wating for is DOOM III, and it's not because of the uber-advanced graphics engine, but only because I'm a long-time DOOM fan.

In a way:

DOOM III : DOOM :: TMNT 2003 : TMNT

Meaning, DOOM III is basically what id Software's dream of achieveing (sp) DOOM was in the past, but couldn't do just as this new TMNT cartoon was what the original cartoon could've and should've been.

Wow, that analogy can't be anymore wrong...

Yea, the modern console games are getting really outrageous, but there are some that will be great games nonetheless...

Computer games I have no problem with them modernizing, the only old game i liked on comp was probly jazz jazkrabbit, everything else I liked they pretty much updated with better sequels and the such.
