Another thing is how little the Foot Soldiers show up in this series. We saw them a few times early on, the one in the Knucklehead, the ones in Vid Vicious arc, the giant one the Warrior Dragon fought, the ones in the maze, the last ones were in #34 I believe when Shredder and Verminator X slip into the future.

Shredder acted pretty solo in this series, only joining up with a few characters.

Even in Year of the Turtle, Shredder has these new cybernetic minions instead of Foot Soldiers.

Shredder blew the budget making those Super Foot Soldier robots in issues #11 and #20.

I want to see a Super Foot Soldier saddle up and ride a Giant Mouser Robot, preferably across a post-apocalyptic wasteland.

Come to think of it I don't have the last Mutant sourcebook in my collection, up to what issues did that last sourcebook cover?

Did it go up to the CyberTurtles and Moon-eyes arcs? If not then a lot of characters from the last batch of issues would not have profiles there.

Mutant Universe Sourcebook #3 covered up through issue #57.

Hm, I wish they would have made a 4th one to cover the last batch of characters introduced, but they probably wanted to initially wait a while before they had several new characters to add to it...and Murphy didn't know the series would be canceled not too long after that.

I never liked the characters introduced in the "Archie specials" as they weren't written by Murphy. It seems like all the mini-series were created to directly tie-in with the main series, (excluding the awful MayEast saga), and they all were written well. They picked up on plots from the main series and were told where they fit in.

The Archie specials on the other hand almost feel as if they're non-canon, given its hard to figure out just where they take place.

Sometimes I honestly forget they exist, given they don't really tie into the main narrative of the Archie series or the mini-series specials at all.
