A female Slash is certainly an interesting idea, and in the right hands could definitely be very good. Though I'm not sure if it's something I would do if I was working on the show (cause I'm not sure I would be able to do it right).

I'd love to see Nick come up with their own, unique, new mutant turtle character. Would be interesting to see what they would come-up with.

i think a 5th turtle with a ninja assassin background d be cool. he uses a nice pair of daggers and help the turtles sometimes but always stay in low profile and never revealed himself to them. and his debut d be titled as " friend or enemy?" .

Nobody's hating on Slash to begin with. The point is that some of us feel that a female version isn't bad, either. It changes it up and makes it interesting, which is one of the factors in making a successful product.

I really feel that the franchise could benefit from a female turtle character, if done right, and if they were to include Slash in the new toon/comic/movie, why not make Slash a girl? It could add a whole new dynamic to the character, rather than just a stereotypical Bizarro-like evil version of the Turtles. A conflicted, 'friend or foe' character that maybe the Turtles could also have the hots for would be interesting, I think (and it wouldn't give off the potentially creepy vibes that a human-turtle crush like Don and April's may give some people).

now talking abt my version of male slash: the ninja assassin turtle... hes the most mysterious turtle, with advanced ninjutsu skills, he has a dark background but he also has the good side and hes struggling inside....esp. after he met the guys, who awaken the good side of himself...

Fuggie Jones, how much of that do you think Nick could get away with? I mean, I can get behind the unsure of her allegiance angle, but the the whole female Turtle does take away from one of the reasons Raphie's angsty...they are the only 4...and there are no females. I'm sure Raph could be suitably angry despite that, but a "canon" female Turtle could open flood gates, especially one who has the possibility of going from enemy to ally, no matter how shaky.

A female Slash could be Raphael's Karai: similar personalities with different codes of honor (and conduct). Oh I didn't expect an immediate face turn, heck, maybe she could be a "grey" villain like the FW Rat King, who's allegiance is mainly built on self interest. The whole mercenary ninja thing.

Re-reading your post, this she-Slash almost plays like a Turtleized Ninjara.
