why "Kraang" and not "Krang"

Oh I get it now. I wonder why they couldn't be called "Krangs" than if it is a plural. Either way, the only dilemna is that the toy should just be called "Krang" since it's only one of them, but it's called "Kraang". Such as Foot Soldier/Foot Soldiers.

Adding that extra letter makes it new, different, and original! I know I just today complained about Rat King's new "design" but that's just my point. They're trying so hard to be different they're doing stupid crap like making General Traag a giant rock monster and Rat King a zombie in a trench coat. They have to change everything, if only just a little, this was a case of going a bit too far with it. Surprised Dimension X isn't called Dimension X2.

Does it really matter how the name is spelled? BTW, isn't kind of funny how Nick is using "Kraang" and "Traag" and IDW is using "Krang" and "Tragg"?
