I enjoyed those stories, but there were only two of them.

Issue #9 of the original proves that the concept can work, but I doubt we will be seeing any "early years" stories any time soon. Of course Tales of the TMNT could have something like that.

Peter Laird said he has NO interest in collaborating with other creators as he did in the past, so the odds of Loeb/sale or anyone else is slim to none. That said, the idea is fascinating... I'm sure they'd do more justice than Mark Martin or Heddon and McWeeney

I agree with Laird, I think it's better to keep Mirage book in Mirage studios.

Actually, I hope there will be some non-Mirage guest artists on some of the new Tales-issues, and maybe (if they can keep with the original spirit, and don't become too silly) some guest writers...

I guess artits are ok, but I don't want to see guest writers, unless the story is by someone in Mirage.

or someone who respects the material in its original context, not the Saturday morning version. (no offense)

hehehe, you got that right...

I love the early years issues from Archie, and I love writing stories even more... I would seriously go out and buy that if i could...
