Once again, I want to thank Mark for posting this to Entity and helping me share it; I was afraid it would sit on my hard drive forever, gathering dust. Also thanks to the people who've said kind things about it here on these forums (where I frequently lurk but somehow missed this thread).

To clarify, Peter Laird probably doesn't even know this story exists. I never thought to contact him because I thought he'd see it in the fan book, though I did write the story with an eye toward Vol. 4 continuity. (I tried to show it to a couple of other TMNT people and never got a response.)

Welcome aboard!

I've always liked the notion of Slash being an alien/extradimensional being, but seeing it on the page, it felt odd.

Perhaps it was the mentally unhinged, lone survivor aspect because I always envisioned Slash as more of a roguish, Riddick type of character (thanks to Archie, I'm sure).

Nice job, though, especially being so close to getting a story in the annals of Turtle comics! I enjoyed this far more than "Muscle & Faith".
