anybody else feel like this should have been a 2-part episode. dont get me wrong the episode was great and action packed but I feel like it was rushed

Would've been nice, but if it was two parts... We would've waited two weeks

Agreed. It also doesn't seem very accurate.

When they mutated, they kind of outgrew their shells; those seem to be more of a leftover from their previous form than anything else. All things considered, they now have more humanoid forms [*insert 'teenage turtle human hybrids' theme song here*], there is just no way everything will fit in there. I'm even against them tucking their heads in: they might be able to get their chins in there but nothing more.

I prefer the way they treat this issue in the IDW comics... Michaelangelo one-shot excluded. The example that comes to mind right now would be in Leo's one-shot: when shredhead throws his katanas back at him, he kind of tucks his head in a little bit cause he thinks they are gonna hit him square in the face.

This is exactly how I felt. It was rushed, but I suppose the pulverizer is the "first part of the episode" if you will.

So, here are my thoughts.

I like how the episode picks up right where the last one left off, wasting no time. It was great to see the patrol buggies again, let's hope they become a primary vehicle for the guys in green. I enjoyed seeing Leatherhead again, and I really like him and Mikey's friendship. It was a bit strange just to see him laying around in the sewer though

It was pretty neat that Leatherhead is somewhat starting to control his anger, hopefully by the time we see him again he'll have it fully under control so he can be a full ally to the turtles. Also, there was another Metalhead cameo! TCRI itself was awesome. I liked seeing April in action again, her training his starting to pay off! General Tragg was O.K I guess, he just seems like a mindless monster and I don;t even recall if he could talk or not. I also think he was defeated too easily. Now, the thing that really annoyed me is how they handle Leatherhead. LH stops the portal from sending more things to earth by going in it and dragging General Traag in with him. I think this was very heroic and brave of him, but I just hope we can see him again soon, which I (sadly) doubt. Mikey seemed very sad back at the lair. Now comes the interesting part. Donatello finds out at the end of the episode that The Kraang are really after April O' Neil. What? Why? I MUST know! Now for my "nit pick" section.

*all of these points below are minor nit picks and should not be taken too seriously*

April going into TCRI. How the heck did they get LH in that box, and how did April know about that since her and LH never met?

Ms. Campbell. I thought she was destroyed, and why wouldn't she recognize April?

That brings me to my next point, if the Kraang really are after April, then why didn't they recognize her when she went into TCRI?

*nit picking over*

All in all, it was a great episode that raised many questions, but felt a little rushed. I want to know so many things, such as why they're after April, when Leatherhead's coming back, and the true intentions of the Kraang, though we won't be seeing this since next week's episode is about Chong the cockroach, which sounds like a filler episode. Now it would seem that the turtles and April would stop at nothing to find out what the Kraang want with April, so it'll be weird if April is just sitting around in their lair in the next episode. I'll be watching the episode again for sure.

They probably used the Campbell robots as a secretary for the building, it was a different robot then the one in April's school

Not everything happens on camera, they probably briefed her about LH at some point.

Well she is a robot, so it's probably a duplicate of the other one. That also explains why she didn't remember April, though considering that she appears to be their main target, one would think they would be more in the lookout to see if she showed up.
