Everytime I see Leo's bright feet bandages, it always reminds me of furry cat feets with their fur shade as if they're wearing little socks. So fluffy and adorable.

The "flat foot" designs are mostly easier to make toys from, and that's where that came from. I personally like it, though. I was stuck on the 3 toes thing, too... TWO YEARS AGO. Besides, it's not that big of a deal. Just get over it like everyone else. Everyone who did ended up loving the design.

Personally, once I realised the fact that past Turtles incarnation had THREE fingers and TWO toes, it hurt me in the childhood quite a bit.

From the Nick show on, having less toes than fingers is just unacceptable to me.

As for blocks... I get where they're coming from. Making hands and feet can be an exausting task. Blocky hands and feet are easier to animate, and to be frank, I'd do the same.

I like the three toes, and if we didn't have them, we wouldn't have Stubby, Joey Nails, and The Stinky Triplets.

I have no idea why something like toes is such a big deal to people. I really, really don't. The first time I saw the Nick designs pretty much the last things I noticed were their feet. I just....I don't understand what the huge problem is. They're toes. They change absolutely nothing about who the characters are or any part of the plot. Hell, in my fanart I like to draw Leo with 2 toes, Mike and Raph with 3, and Donnie with *gasp* 4 toes. Because I can. Honestly, it's pretty much the last thing people should be making a fuss about.

I also like the bandages too. It gives them a bit more detail and to me, is a nice visual cue for how athletic they are.

And how did 2 toes ever make sense to begin with? Don't turtles in real life have the same number of toes as they do fingers anyway? I was a bit turned off by it at first but it does make more sense and it's hardly noticeable.

I think that was because when you look at the Tabi sock warn by martial artist and other things of Japanese culture it looks as though the foot has two toes.

I've become fond of the new feet since they make the toys easier to pose.

Yeah, that too! My 80s turtles like to fall over at the slightest kitten whisper.

All these are just opinions, no need to be so accusing
I couldn't agree more. I really disliked their design for all of the first two episodes, but now I love it and accept it as part of the new show.

Well tell your darn kittens to quit gossiping so close to your TMNT figs! Sheesh! That's an easy fix... Lol. I love off phrasings like that. Thanks for the lovely mental picture full of cuteness!

You're welcome! I'm pretty sure the phrase came from Wreck it Ralph's Sergeant Calhoun.
