That's whole point of mutagen! Their goal wasn't creating half kraangs but to fix the mutagen so that they could fully terraform the earth.

April could've been just any random baby kraang fetus, put the only genes in the human race that comply with the mutagen and work as it was intended to.
It doesn't matter if the kraang was the father or how she was conceived. The point is that she was a kraang first that was then perfectly mutated with human dna (any kind of DNA would do, thank you very much) into a human fetus and born as a baby with both human genes of the human mother and human father.

I mean hell, the reason why she showing signs now with all of the physic powers was because laws of our dimension are starting to effect and slowing unraveling on whatever that's keeping her 100% human!

Funny thing is that same idea might have been used for The Turtle Terminator episode of OT TMNT except it was a robotic Irma instead of a robotic April.

"April Android" in Fleetway's Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles Adventures #50!

Gotta love those bizarre short stories! It is quite reminiscent of The Turtle Terminator. Don't know if it was a coincidence, but lots of 80s toons and comics recycled the old "robot impersonating a member of the inner circle" trope.

(Personally, I'd love it if IDW put out a new book based on the OT along the same lines as some of these wacky one-shot UK comics.)

So, now that S2E25/26 has aired, it seems that not only is April part Kraang, but it appears that humans as a whole have mutagen flowing in their blood as well. I wonder what Casey is going to think of this now?

I agree (with the "better than it should be, not the Archie art = garbage bit)! There's so much kinetic energy in Leonardo slicing robo-April in half!

The Fleetway comics were very ridiculous, but their rotation of illustrators were quite talented. And the colors looked great, way better than the usual Archie fare we got in the States.

....you know it's funny you bring up that picture because I keep thinking April is going to have a Phoenix-type thing happen to her. Like her powers will take on a life of their own and control her like a vessel.

Also, I was really hoping for a prom episode before they left the city. Like the Kraang had infiltrated the student body and set it up where April would win Prom Queen, but the crown was really a control device and the corsages that all the students were wearing were mind control devices and they would attack the turtles, but when April freaks out she starts going all Carrie on them and....

That's totally a leaked season 4 concept of April. I totally did not just make that on my phone...at work.

After hearing Ciro's comments, I 100% think this is what's going to happen to her character.
