Hey guys.. I think I found somethin'.

Look at the top of this page.. It looks like it says "Tales TMNT #4, page 13"

So it looks like these are gonna be for the new Tales of the TMNT!

Hrmmm.... interesting! Can't say what this is about either, or if they are going to have various artists also work on the Tales of the TMNT this time, instead of one or two.

All the art looks great.. but I also have to agree. Splinter looks a bit like a rabid mutant wolf (as usual).

Wow. This looks great. I'm really excited for "Tales", even just so we get all sorts of different creators taking a stab at the guys. I quite like the art, even if Splinter looks a bit odd. But hey, pretty much every artist has a drastically different take on the Sensei, so I'm used to it.

The full-head bandanas belong to the Pre-Teen versions of the TMNT, if I remember correctly.

~Well, whether it's three or four, or ten new titles, I know *I'll* buy all of 'em!

Okay, I'm excited about this, but...WHY MUST THESE PEOPLE MAKE SPLINTER LOOK LIKE SOMETHING OTHER THAN A RAT?! Why does he look like the bastard son of a loosee sewer rat and a junkyard dog? WHY GOD, WHY?! Rats don't have freakin' canine teeth! *Beats head against computer desk*

All I ask for is a few more artists to make Splinter look like a rat. A RAT. Not a dog. Not some blocky faced freak. A RAT.

Intresting, but they don't always have the full cap and if tose pics are straight from the book then they won't have them there... So maybe the earlier ones are about the pre-teen turtles and by the 4th one they are at the full band age...

I want to see stories taking place between #1 and Shredder's return in the Leo oneshot. There is a lot of untold asdventures in that time!

Oh wow... that looks awesome! I'm gonna have to bully my comic store guy into stocking it and saving it for me.

... and am I the only one who actually *likes* the way Splinter looks here....?!

Woo!

No, Lola, you aren't. Although he certainly doesn't ever look like a rat, and honestly, I don't think he ever did throughout the entire TMNT universe, I like the look. He looks kinda dragon-y and mondo scary.

Besides, if all the artists made him look precisely like the sort of rat he should be, it would limit artistic creativity. I like to see differing interpretations, even if they venture outside of biological realities. After all, we are talking about fictional mutant creatures here.

I'll have to keep an eye out for this in Previews.

Vey cool pics! A pity there's no place to buy comics near my house, or else I might keep up with them more.

I'd like to point out that in the pics near bottom (the ones of actual comic panels, not just concept art) they don't have bandanas like that.
