I assume that because of other bulky characters such as Dogpound and Tiger Claw are a factor on making Hun more unique (I still like his old appearance though). Considering that Xever was seemingly based on Jim Kelly and Bradford was based on Chuck Norris, it seemed inevitable a Bruce Lee modeled character was set to appear. With each incarnation, it'll take sometime to adapt to another form of a character.

That being said, he's only appeared once and proved to be an interesting character, but I can't say I either hate or like him right now. I say I'd give Hun a few more appearances until I get an honest opinion on him.

Stop being a baby. It's a show about martial arts & it's making a nod to the grand daddy of martial arts-based entertainment. Period.

After all these years of him being parodied, having tribute paid to him, etc, there is far worse out there, concerning how is image is portrayed.

About the chuck noris part I didn't see how they portrayed Bradford before the mutation honestly so I can't judge it

I don't mind the character, but they should have just given him a new name and made him into a new character. Giving him the same name as an old character is like a slap in the face to fans of Hun because they're nothing alike.

I've got zero problems with the new version of Hun; I think his design is really nifty - I love his tattoos, and it's a new take on the character... really not the big deal that some people are making of it.

Like Powder, I've grown even fonder of the guy because of the wailing and gnashing of teeth that it's caused. Talk about a non-issue.

As for the question of this thread: I don't hate the new Hun. I think he's pretty awesome. But I think that about a lot of the characters in this show. >u<
