Most in it are "just a supporting role," and that varies.

It however is a role given a name, not "bartender" or "patron #3"... Maybe it's brief, but if they gave the character a name, maybe not.

My mind keeps wanting me to think this is their version of Zach. >.< Why mind, why you do this... I'm sure that's gotta be nonsense. I think it's that it's just that sort of name in a way.

It's absolutely Michael Bay's movie. Paramount put him in charge at the beginning and he has final say over everything, and we know from pictures he was involved with production intimately.

That's an undeniable, straight forward fact, backed up by Bay himself and several reputable trade sites.
