As for the Dromies I am willing to give it a trial run. If it does not pan out this time shut it down for good. e just have to act like adults and I know that is much easier said than done
I think we're more alike than you or I would believe, just given how often we are on the same side. I think our Venn diagram would be our disagreement over the legacy Robins/Batgirls; older Batman comics; and the Fred Wolf cartoon. Then everything else in the middle.

If we were to do the 'Drome awards again, I think we can all agree to threaten to put any legitimate complainers in the running for the category of 'Biggest Weenie'.

Those are the two things I am most passionate about in hobbies. I have to have a certain TMNT (1987) influence and I grew up with Dick as Robin and Barbara as Batgirl. Not interested in any other Bat associate and I know as far as TMNT is concerned I will never appreciate anything over the TMNT. Sorry cant shake that. Stubborn? Nostalgia blinding? Maybe I just know what I like. Same for you I suppose.

Yes, agreed about the rest.

You'd need Razzies for people who can't stay on topic.

You don't need to look much further than this very thread for examples.

There is no Cure for that. It is every day conversation in person or online.

Now that I got my silly bone out, I say if it's for a laugh or two, why not bring em back as a one time only? Otherwise, meh.

ahem. Well. I honestly wasn't expecting this particular topic to be brought up again. o-o I remember one of the Drome awards. 'twas alright. I wouldn't mind doing it again, and say 'to hell with the butthurt'. Hah. Right. Although, I think I would want to watch from the sidelines -as recently- and see how it plays out. IF the Dromies happen again, which I doubt.

yeh.

I accept the nomination. What can I say? It is pun. The starky punster comes from reading too much Dick Grayson and Peter Parker.

Friendliest.

I think I came on board in the middle of one of these. Thought it was pretty cool and always wondered why it never seemed to happen again.

I'd be down. Even if it turns out terrible, would make for some good entertainment.

Hey, I wanna throw out some titles too.

* Most Likely to Drunk Post.

* The Spam Ham.

* Greatest Irate Poster of All. / * Most Likely Needs a Hug.

* Most Likely to give the FUBAR treatment to a thread.

* The Over - Caffeinated Posting Candidate.

* The God Modder. (optional award idea)

These Dromie Awards could be fun, that is, when we all remember that they're all B.S. awards.
