Okay, I'll bite. If he did leave, he'd be the smartest one in the whole bunch for refusing to be part of what would most likely be a ****** 3rd movie.

(and in case people take it seriously...I have no problems with someone being gay. It's just that nowadays, it seems stuff like that is done not for actual story/character purposes, but for other reasons).

I don't see Raph as being the closet-case type.
If anything he'd be a 1-turtle Straight Pride Parade.

Mike, on the other hand...

Having said that, please beat that "Gay For Story Purposes" drum harder, so that maybe my own personal storyline will kick up a notch.

To be honest...at this point, I am not surprised that something like that has not happened yet in TMNT. Whether in a comic or some other kind of 'official medium'.

Iron Man is now a black woman in the comics, Sulu is gay in the new Star Trek (I guess a nod to George Takei being gay in real life? Although Takei himself does not approve of it)...so again, I would not be surprised if something like that does happen in the future with TMNT.

Again, before people try to 'twist it' into something it's not...it's not the fact of 'if someone is gay/straight' or 'black/white', etc. It's 'are you doing it for an actual story/character reason? Or are you doing it for publicity to make money and/or appease someone to make money?'

I agree. I think certain versions of Leo, Don and Mike have been gay, can't think of any where Raph was though.

Maybe if there were one loving ass shot, I'd want him in, but from what I've heard they failed to get that in in two feature-length movies. It's like, what's the point?

It's fine. The PD Turtles' shells are just glorified backpacks made out of a giant mole on their upper back, even the plastron is so flexible and bendable that you can see it moves like a human's chest when they breathe. These guys where barely turtles at all.
