maybe it's just me, but I could have swore that there were never all "soft" figures made, I thought it was the look of the plastic wearing down over the years

You are correct, People want to believe that they have something that no one else does.

The reality is that if those figures were really all that rare, it would cost a lot more than $200. Second, if you are manufacturing things that are usually plastic, and get rubber by mistake, you stop the line because it could be very dangerous, and no one confuses the rubber with plastic(generally, different materials are manufactured in completely different areas so u wouldn't spill the liquid rubber instead of the plastic like a batman movie). Third, i have asked people who have opened these figures before and it was a fine layer of dust that would wipe right off after opening.

**Edit** i read a post on this forum where someone actually opened it, and it was all plastic like i just said

What in the world are those? I really and honestly have no idea what to even say about them. I feel like I should just buy them because I have never once seen them, making me think they are rare, but knowing my luck they would just be bootlegs.

I forgot who told me on here, but they made 'kits' where it's nothing but all the pieces you would need to build a Turtle, and you assemble it yourself.
