Do VQ Leo have painted backside shell and belt, or is it just skin color green like Knight Leo?

Saw the most of the new case for the wave with the Mystic Turtles at Walmart:
1 set of Mystic Turtles
1 set of Movie Turtles
1 set of Basic Turtles
2x Bebop (light skin)
2x Rocksteady (camo pants)
2x Shredder (v2 I think)
2x Robot Foot

Can't remember what the others were, but can confirm they were all in new packaging and the Mystic Turtles were 1 of each per case.

No comic turtles? I still need a loose Mikey. Hopefully we get another case of them.

Over here we were backed up with them. Atleast 2 on every peg.

There's going to be a Mondo Gecko action figure?

I really hope so! The concept art looked so radical!

I guess nobody has information on the release date for TMNT Classics Collection 6" Shredder and Krang action figures. Bebop and Rocksteady were delayed, but they did finally release.

Man, I was really getting into these 2012 turtle figures.

After I finally got to see both Bebop and Rocksteady up on the pegs at my local Walmart...I decided to quit. I mean, I have been noticing a decline in quality since before those figures first hit the shelves, but they became the straw that broke the camel's back. I was just like, "ok forget this.. I'm done".
It doesn't make sense to me. Nickelodeon made the turtles popular again. Their launch figures were excellent! It all seemed so promising at first.
Kids are actually getting into them (or were). Even my son liked the show and the toys. But he got tired of waiting for an episode to spring up. I don't blame him. When we were kids, a lot of us here used to catch TMNT shows everyday before and after school, right? Well he immediately got into some other show (anime) and pretty much lost all interest for TMNT. Yikes.
Not too long ago, he wanted a Newtralizer figure. When we went shopping, he bought Pokemon cards instead.

I know as a collector, momentum and raising the bar, are keys to keep things going strong. However, once you miss more than a few beats and peel away at the quality of your product, a lot of people may get turned off. The balloon bursts and everyone starts to snap out of it. However, there's also a lot of people who don't mind it and keep buying. I'm not one of them.

I never ended up purchasing Bebop or Rocksteady, two of my favorite characters in the TMNT universe. The spell has been broken and I think I'm done for now.
I wish Playmates put a little more effort in their game.

The Classics Collection Shredder and Krang are coming some time in the spring or summer. We'll probably see painted prototypes at Toy Fair.

We just got the comic turtles in Canada the week before Christmas. I wonder if they only start shipping them here when they stop shipping in the US. People have issues with playmates quality but when you add the snails pace in which spin master brings new product North of the border it is frustrating.

To put things in perspective the interactive talking turtles came out here shortly after the U.S. Got them but they never released Donatello. We bought Raphael and Mikey but don't dare buy Leo in case we have to import the 2 pack from the U.S. Needless to say all these 2015 figures are probably not going to see shelf space here till the middle of the year.

i feel you man, the nick turtles got me back into collecting tmnt toys again but at the same time it seems like they're doing the exact same thing as the original line (mutating turtles, head dropping turtles...etc) but worse. it's like they're working backwards, i bought a few original vintage toys literally days ago and they all have way more paint apps then the ones you find on the shelf at a toys r us right now. years later majority of the vintage toyys can still be bought relatively cheap unless you like to collect moc toys. for the price i'm paying right now for the nick toons turtles, i'd rather honestly just spend it hunting old vintage toys, i don't even care if it is loose i like fiddling with my toys once in a while anyways. the new reissue toys would've been great too if they actually release them in canada. why we didn't get the new wave i don't know. only new lines i still have hope for is the retro classic figures.

sigh, welp here's their response.

They look very similar to the ones I see here.

Thank you and we appreciate your support of the TMNT line of toy products. Since we mass produce our toys there will be some articulation variation and paint variation from figure to figure, but we do appreciate your comments and will continue to do our best to manufacture the highest quality product possible. The packaging is done several months before the actual manufacturing and for that reason we use a hand painted prototype of the product.

Please note on the bottom of all packaging there is statement that reads Prototypes are shown in the Photographs. Final product appearance, accessories and colors may vary.

Thank you for your support.

at least they got back to me. i knew nothing would happen but i still had to do it.

Looks like Muckman's a bad guy. I was looking forward to him and Mikey hanging out.

Also, look at the next post. He still lives.

Slash is sided with the Kraang on the cardback. This means little to nothing.

It looks like Muckman lost some pounds in the 90s and 00s too.
