Ok, sorry guys but this is getting way out of hand...We are already claiming dibs on his body parts just because we think they look like superheroes, sheesh, that's a little cruel to the guy who started it all, no?

And we were just JOKING! We're not gonna hunt down Laird. As a reader I know how annoying and upsetting teasers can be. But as a writer and would-be comic artist, I know how pleasurable it is to annoy and upset my readers strictly for shock value.

Another thing too: If you've read the letters section of Vol.4 #5, you'd know that Peter Laird doesn't tolerate people bitching and complaining about his book.

Im not still feeling too good about ths... But there is no reason we shouldn't trust that Laird knows what's best for his comic. I mean, Does he have any reason to ruin it?

I dunno...maybe they're not even going to become superheroes, or will go back to normal after some time...i thought splinter was gonna die when i saw the cover of that other comic of vol 4, can't remember which one, but he didn't, so who knows

BUt I also agree... I'm not a big fan of superhereos. Batman, Xmen, and DareDevil are about as far as I will go.. all the rest just annoy me. But I think they are also doing another gag for the covers. Surely Laird will not make them permanent superheroes, would he?
