I still hope the show goes on for a few more seasons yet at least.

I dunno... remember, NECA made Pirates of the Carribean toys along side Zizzle. Thing is, they sold at 2 different outlets. While Zizzle's stuff was in Target and other big name mainstream shopping chains, NECA's line was in places like Spencer gifts and local chains like Newburry Comics.

So it all matters on which group of people is willing to buy what toys.

And if these do sell better, I hope Playmates takes the hint.

I just have to say that Im totally excited. I'll definatly be getting the Bobbleheads...mostly for my step-dad who collects Bobbleheads and would totally drool over TMNT ones (especially of his hero, Donatello ).

But the problem is I don't know what stores around here carry Neca stuff. I'd be surprised if there WAS a store here that did. The website doesn't say crap where they sell either. :/

I wouldn't buy bobbleheads myself... unless they were old toon style. Somehow I feel old toon bobbleheads are more fitting.

Hehe, yeah I got a Sloth Monster, same day I scored Jungle Leo and Movie Shredder. w00t! w00t! Normally my figs are all MOC, but I've taken all my new movie figs out, partially to get the UPC codes for Bigfoot and partially because I think the generic packages look like crap. These aren't bad offerings for Playmates and they look much nicer out on my bookshelf.

When the NECA figs hit, I'm gonna try to score doubles of each so that I can have some for the shelf AND some to put away. I'm a fiend like that.

Holy crap, that thing is beautiful. It's really going to make all the other turtles that came before pale in comparison, especially the new movie figures.

I agree with Peter the neck is extremely odd, it's the first thing I noticed. Everything else shown is beautiful. I'll buy 3 of each if not more, I'm not kidding. This is a dream line and we should treat it as such, so that NECA gets rewarded for beautiful toys, and Playmates gets dumped on for their dumpy toys.

YES!!!! Dreams do come true.

Sweet Zombie Jesus!

That may not be the exact style of turtle I want, but it is very sweet nonetheless.

Me likey. It looks like the original Ninja Action figures (of which I have Leo and Raph) as well as the statues. And these Neca are gonna be posable! Woohoo!

But again my only issue is trying to find a store here that sells neca stuff.

Aside from the neck, I think they need to bulk up his shoulders a little. Not too much though.

But the quality and accuracy of this first prototype blows my mind. I can't wait for these figures!

This is awsome! I agree about the neck, I dont think they should thicken it but shorten it a little. Also, when I first saw it I didnt like the huge bandana tail, but now that I really look at it I kind of see how it would work. It would be REALLY awsome if the bandana was movable and you could move it from lying down flat position to the way it is here...

EDIT: And I'm glad they made the heads in proportion.

The new line.

If this is any indication of what is to come from the new line of toys, we are in for a treat. So far I agree with everybody about the neck, it needs to be shortened. Will all of there bandanas be red? It would be cool to take the bandanas and belts off to allow it to be like a pet turtle. I would also like to see how some of the enemies from this new line will look. I WANT USAGI, especially in this style. A colored sculpt would be nice, because the paintjob we get could be bright and cartoony, or dark and dreary. I prefer realistic, so I want it to look like a real life ninja turtle. LOL.
