Toonzone reviews TMNT Season 6 DVD (Bad Review)

It seems silly to even review a cartoon from the 80s/90s that's coming out on DVD anyway. Obviously the people that will want to buy it will be people that watched it and already have a connection to the series anyway. I doubt it'll pick up many new fans along the way unless it is as a result of people that liked the turtles thru the newer series or the new movie.
I just think it's pointless to have someone review this unless they're reviewing it for things like bonus features and stuff. The point of releasing old shows on DVD is to cater to the audience that it did in the first place, not to win over new people. Maybe that's what the reviewer didn't realize.

Now why I bothered to bring this up is I get sick of people bitching about the DVDs.

May I point out, that as Toonzone Reviwers, they get these DVD's FREE OF CHARGE!!!! I even asked them at one point. there was one April Fool's review where someone actually bought a bunch of dollar store DVD's, but that was about it.

Why I don't like film critics? They get PAID to see movies. Not even just get to see them free. They get paid to see them, and have bugs up their butts about certain films.

Aside from those several awkward assumptions the writer makes, the review has a few valid points.

They are paid for devoting their time see certain movies and pulling out analytical and well-readable reviews afterwards, which might come in handy for others to save up their money.

Stating that someone gets paid to see the movie you'd have to pay for - and still dares to show his discontentment about what he saw - sounds like a badly hidden jealousy for me.

I... don't really follow. It sounds like we shouldn't really try to evaluate any old show, because it probably has its strong fanbase, willing to buy just anything released under the franchise, right?

Hardly any slating of the characters or the "personal experiance" o watching your "childhood raped", or even bashing characters that are meant to be comedy-based. Instead, this review takes a strong look at the highs and lows of both products and doesnt throw in "dont buy this" so dilligently. It even gives props to some episodes of "Movies" (admitedly, I love the Batman parody, but I've only ever seen three of the series)

It all comes down to the reviewer being a curtain statement hack, the kind of reviewers TZ once were, and the type TZ ought to NEVER recruit again

He might noty have realised it, but those "guns" are two different things...

I really like seaso 6 so far and I haven't even go to the accalimed Sword of Yurikawa. The animation is better than season 5's, which was better than the season 4 animation, and the show is still funny, so it ain't no waste of time.

Listen. it's all a matter of tastes. Critics review things based on what they like. So basically, we're getting why something isn't good in their eyes by their accounts. I like to say, give it a go yourself. Only you know what you like best. You're your own best Critic.

And yes, if you made a career out of seeing movies for free that is something that I'm jealous of. I freaking have to pay to see these you know. In crappy, underkept theaters too.
