LOL! Also, I'm pretty sure you have to be castrated to become a eunuch, so either way they had junk at some point.

I think Venus was taken out because she added hope for the turtles as a species. Part of the sadness about the turtles existence is that they're the first and last of their kind. It adds that extra push that its struggle for them to take part in things we take as ordinary, like having a romantic relationship or children.

Did anyone else think she should have had a pink bandana? I know it was different than Leo's but having two blue Turtles is dumb, plus almost all girls love pink... even yellow would have been better.

If she had had a pink bandana, I would've hated her, no question. I'm a girl, and growing up I HATED the color pink. Part of it was because I was just 'meh' about the color, the other was that people EXPECTED me to like it because I was girl.

The way you phrased it, it seemed you had the logic that since she's a girl, she should have a pink bandanna, but also because its a stereotype that girls like pink. I just think that's a pretty lame way to view it. They realized that just HAVING a girl was good enough to attract more girls to the show, and they didn't have to fall to stereotypes for her bandanna color.

Well I was just presenting another possibility. I think having turtles that share the same headband color is dumb (unless they all have red ). So outside of pink, yellow and white, what else ya got?

Agreed. As a kid watching the show, I always thought that Leo and Venus were the same turtle. Only for some reason Leo would magically grow boobies. It was only after they appeared in the same scene at the same time did I realise my grave mistake...

I keep coming back to one thought. If they were separated before they grew humanoid, why the crap did Venus even have a bandana in the first place? It's strange enough that the boys each wear a "mask," but since Venus was raised by some other dude, why does she have one too? Is there some mutant humanoid turtle rule that says they must wear bandana's with eye holes?
