So the old toon should have been what tmnt 2003 is??? Pardon me for bursting your bubble here, but as far as ratings go, this new show blows major ass dude... I wouldn't be surprised if it is cancelled, as it is fearing a cancellation any moment .....While the old show was an immediate hit for about 7 years...and retired on its own...

Most Wal-Mart dudes don't know much of anything, so I'd take his comment with a grain of salt. Case-in-point...one customer was asking about the difference between the GBASP and the GBA when I was looking at the GBA games, and the guy actually told the customer that the GBASP is better because it has better graphics and other than that, there is no difference. I just about wanted to pull a Terry Tate and clothesline the dumb****, so I restrained myself thanks to my ninja training and TMNT watching and just told the poor customer the truth. Hey, who says you can't learn anything from a cartoon?

I play my GC alot with Animal Crossing and now Zelda. My X-Box time is spent with NHL2k3 and sometimes Splinter Cell with quite a bit of The Elders Scrolls III: Morrowind tossed in. I'm personally beginning to enjoy the GCN out of all the systems ever. But it's still got aways to go before surpassing NES let alone SNES. My list goes like this:
5. X-Box
4. N64
3. GCN
2. NES
1. SNES
As you can see PSX or PS2 aren't even listed. They just haven't given me as much entertainment.

MGS2:Substance just blew on the Xbox. It turned out better on the PS2...

You also gotta take into account that the TV landscape today is different than it was when the old show was on. We have a gazillion more channels to watch, new laws and regs as far as what kind of programming is required to be on, basically more stuff for others to turn on and watch. Yeah, if a show is really good people should be watching it instead of Yu-Gi-Ohmygodthissucks or Pokemyeyesoutmon or even news and other "educational" programs. Just like the title of the first episode of the new series says..."Things Change"...

So you think if we left the new tmnt as it is, it would have been a better success if released in 1987? Not even the animation is better,

Why wait until it gets cancelled? Just don't watch it and pretend that it's gone!

Dude, I seriously think that you are, without a doubt, the single most negative person I've ever seen post on a message board. And I used to post on www.lordsofpain.net every day. That place is/was a damn Asylum. But even there everyone liked SOMEthing.

What's the deal, man? I have never once seen you make a positive comment about anything. If you're getting ME depressed, then something is seriously wrong.

Tokka, please stop posting such negative posts all the time. It's one thing to post your opinion and leave it at that, but it's not necessary to bash everything that other people say they like. I actually agree with you in that I don't like and don't watch the new TMNT cartoon, but you won't see me putting it down over and over again. If you continue disrupting the forums like this, I'll start giving you warnings.

I know there no difference in graphics, but I got the new SP and Pokemon(ya i know, haha, the games are fun tho) w/ it & I played it on both GBA and GBASP. The game looks a lot better playing it on the SP, rather than on the regular GBA, probably due to the lighting.

Hmmm, I'd hate to say this, but it works both ways: You think it is hard to be depressed by one person? Try 20. It seems as if I am against all of you opinion-wise, but I try not to take it so harsh...Anyway, I will try to have more positive comments in the future, I hope someone makes a post that I can actually say is positive, all that has been here was things I don't like, and as I always like a 2-sided thread, so I post. Anyway, I have only been to a few message boards, not even heard of the one you are talking about leo, but I tend to try to make myself a pessimist, (the glass is half empty I am telling you!!! ) so I get carried away sometimes in my own antics...

So does anyone here own a sega saturn or sega cd?

Saying the game has better graphics is different from saying the game looks better. I know the difference. I've been in the industry, sold at retail, done mail order, ran my own game store at one time, and own all the systems going back to the Atari 2600, except for maybe 2 or 3. And I'm telling you, this guy at Wal-Mart really believed that the GBA SP had BETTER graphics. He wasn't saying that the games look better because of the light. He didn't even mention the damn light! He went so far as to say that the difference in graphics is like Nintendo 64 to GameCube, talking about how the hardware in the GBA SP is vastly superior to the original GBA. I swear man, ignorant fools like that shouldn't be ANYWHERE near games. There should be a law that forbids people like that from even playing games.

I have a Sega CD. I'd also like to buy a Saturn someday if I can ever find one for a good price.
