hrmm... so there's no chance of getting you to eat a chocolate covered ant, Azure?

I will admit I think I ate a couple of ants that got in my donut last week... my Korean in-laws had a little ant investation. Not that I wanted to eat one, it was until after I bit into the donut did I notice the little itty bitty things!

If I closed my eyes and didn't know what I was eating, then it might be okay...
Worse than an ant, though.. I have a friend who ate a snail, shell and all when she was about two years old!! yuk

actually, i heard that bugs are really very nutritious. you can buy lollipops with crickets in them, or shakes with worms at the bottom (i've never had the nerve to try them myself, but i hear that they're good for you). I could see myself chowing down on chocolate covered ants.

Mmm.. yeah... ants at least have the good taste to eat things that are sweet. Not like baby flies or and worms that eat dirt and manure.

I don't think I even drank Tequila yet.

But... if there's one thing in the Korean 'cuisine' I will not eat, are these silkworm larvae things marinated and cooked in soysauce.

*still contemplating writing a Fear Factor style fic where the guys have to eat worms as part of Splinters survival training*

Personally, I rather eat 'balls'over worms!

But no... the silk worm larvae inna can is not expensive. I saw it sold at a concession stand, along with the sashimi escargo! (Or something that waas in little pointy shells that was the size of snails)
