Today's ep was pretty sweet, I just wish I wasn't sick

POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR NEXT EPISODE:

I wonder how they're going to do it if it is supposedly the Leonardo one shot, because that happened in the winter, Christmas time to be exact, and would feel out of place if it was done in the Beginning of June.... Without the snow battles, it just wouldn't be Leonardo #1

I saw the preview for next episode and there isn't a trace of snow....

half way through the ep fox got all fuzzy. All the other stations were fine but only fox screwed up.

I hope that in the next episode they work something in like a Leo/Raph fight, because I always loved that from the first movie..

Jack Kirby is Eastman and Laird's favorite comic book artist and today's episode was an hommage to him. There you have it.

Jack Kirby was also one of the greatest comicbook artists of all time. Many people still look to his work for inspiration - even today's artists. Jack's own style was often immitated by other artists in the biz. That says a lot.

Jack co-created (along with Stan Lee) the original X-Men as well as Magneto, and Dr. Doom and the Fantastic Four. He was also a co-creater of Captain America and The Mighty Thor along with many, many, many others!

He is one of the most influential people in the comics business and really helped bring comics to mainstream. People liked him because his art had so much movement in it. It was very dramatic - somehting that in those days hadn't been seen before (the 60's). They called him the King because he was, and is the best.

BTW, I loved the ep!!

Excellant episode! I am so glad they didn't screw it up!
In my opininon, that episode was better than all three of the last episodes put together..

I loved this episode! The best part for me had to be when Mike and Don started pigging out on chinese food and April said "Feels like I went from being happily single to mother of four overnight!"
SPLINTER: "Tell me about it."

My VCR kinda acted funny at the beginning of the second act right before Don met Kirby, but I only had to edit out afew seconds of that scene where Don passes that first flying monster.

My dirty little mind couldn't help but wonder if they were gonna change it so she'd be the one in the shower instead of Raph. Guess it wouldn't have made much sense though.

I wouldn't cound on that until we get to "Return to New York." In the comic, Leo goes out on a training run on his own, not because of a fight with Raph.

okay, don't everyone shoot me.....

This wasn't my fave. I loved the opening with all four of the turtles....in april's apartment. Very 1st movie...I was happy.

AND RAPH IN THE SHOWER...YEAH YEAH YEAH BABY...!!!!!
(hey...I wasn't sitting close enough...did he have pupils while his mask was off?)

But, I wasn't a huge fan of the rest....probably because I've never really been into comics and have no idea what KIRBY'S style looks like...or any of that nature. I did think it was a nice tribute to him, obviously he was/is special...and thats nice.

okay. I'm glad you all enjoyed it. Rock on Turtles!! Rock ON!
