I don't think it'll be Casey though. I think they want to save him for season two. But it'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

Yeah this episode is showing this friday at 7pm according to my dvr.. I think the wikipedia page is wrong on this one.

Would make a lot of sense for them to be connected. I considered it.

We already know chong goes through multiple 'stages' he starts off as a roach pet/spy of some kind for donatello and then mutates and then mutates AGAIN (this was shown at comic con 2012)

We also saw this with stockman who had 3 stages of armor.

Not saying newt will have 3 stages but he could very well have 2.

If the Pulverizer has a similar outfit to the Newtralizer (as seen in the toy), then its obvious its the same character.

Because why else would a Newt mutant suddenly carry heavy humanoid weaponry and outfits if he were an animal prior?

The similar name is probably so kids can recognize the character both pre- and post-mutation.

If it is him, its just kinda disappointing that almost every human we meet keeps getting turned into a mutant. Its what makes me hope Baxter stays human for at least until Season 2.
