I posted many disturbing moments earlier in the thread. The Mousers chewing April to pieces would have been another one.

I can't imagine how it must be for the Mouser's jaws to rip apart human flesh.

Come to think of it, that WAS pretty disturbing. That would be a horrifyingly ironic way for a ninja turtle to die!

Well.. Of course there's Timothy's transformation in the 2012 series... Also in 2003, Baxter's finger melting off, jaw getting kicked off, and him having to violently put himself back together(I'm guessing he still had feeling...). Of course, Leatherhead's torture flashback i found disturbing as well... Particularly when the saw blade is pushed foward and we see the Silhouette of him on the table in pain as it cuts into him... These are the ones that come to mind at the moment.

The Robo-April O'Neil in the Tales of the TMNT #55 epilogue has never sat right with me. The fact that the bot's significance has never really been explained just adds to the disturby-ness of the whole thing.

Raph needed some sort of outlet at his old age.... yep. Even more disturbing.

i have this issue and never even realized how messed up it is. it bugged me all night after reading it. issue 2 of Blind Sight was kinda unsettling too with the white sihlouette of the creature in the woods is really weird.

Also one that comes to mind to me is the "Turtle Dreams" comic in Turtle Soup #1 is freakin messed up. the whole idea is creepy and the part where it shows Mikey ripped in half and the demon taking his heart is just too much.

Oh, man, that story totally freaked me out too.

I love how the whole story just seems to ooze with black ink too. That's one of the beauties of black n' white storytelling when it's done well. It just gives stories like that an eery atmosphere.

That time when Shredder tried to defeat the Turtles. That was pretty disturbing.

Oh, and the Turtles mutating from the ooze is pretty disturbing. Could you imagine, all your body parts changing, your muscles growing, your skeleton stretching, Mortal Kombat style? That's messed up!

There was one time where Shredder tells Bebop and Rocksteady to, "DESTROY THE TURTLES!"

That's pretty disturbing
Spoiler:
...if you're disturbed.

The monkey-spanking joke in "TURTLES OF THE JUNGLE" disturbed me.

Prof. Willard: Jocko! Bad monkey!
Donatello: You're not planning to spank him, are you?
gobo: >_<

EDIT: Whoops! Got the words "disturbed" and "disgusted" mixed up. My bad!

Everyone pretty much covered. All I'm left to suggest is the monster from "Dragon's Brew". That--was very disturbing.

In "The Incredible Shrinking Turtles" Shredder was going to smash the jar the Turtles were locked in with a crowbar.

The existence of movie 3. lol

Hmm, for Mirage, April's true origin story i found a bit disturbing (and hollow). Nothing else comes to mind right off for the other mediums.

I learned that from movie 2.

Yep. TMNT has had it's share of "disturbing" occurances. But if not, we'd have teenage friendly nonviolent disco ponies. Which dosn't sound to exciting, or compelling, to me.

Name one "Super hero" based comic/movie/cartoon/franchise that doesn't. That would be the real challenge. lol. Even good ole' Tom and Jerry was loaded with "disturbing" bits.

Some good points in here. You've rooted them out Like rotten little easter eggs. lol.
