True, but there are still plenty who don't really care for him. It's not like he's overwhelmingly beloved, so it's quite possible that some other writer/creator may come up with a gang/mob boss that is better. I myself am just alright with Hun, so I'm kind of indifferent to whether he is replaced or not, though I did love Jones'/Harmon's Hun issue.

There was a recurring Mob boss in 2k3 with an assistant that looked like Howie Mandell, anyone remember their names? Cause I don't. Maybe you guys have forgotten but we got a new gang leader, Victor and he has alliances with other mob types who may become named characters in the future.

Having seen ever episode of TMNT (2003) I still miss the homage. What is the homage? Its just Hun with his back turned and the pruple dragon tattoo on his back instead of right arm.

I honestly don't believe he was given a name. Only referred to as "boss". I could be wrong, but he went nameless in his two episodes. Its a shame he wasn't used more. I'm no fan of a gang of thugs but the mob can be intersting if used right.

This is cool, I'm excited.

And as much as I loved Tristan's Mirage stuff (and pretty much everything he's done), I think it's totally unfair to say that it was a "missed opportunity" to not use Tristan here. He doesn't have a monopoly of Hun. Costa and Epstein are great writers, and I think it's brilliant that they're getting the creative team from the Casey Jones micro to do this one. I definitely hope they go all out and get Ian Herring to color Henderson's pencils.

That being said... Please get Tristan on an issue soon!

Don't think the big guy was ever named. Although his assistant's name was "Weasel" wasn't it?

Correct TTN,the #2 guy in the mob's name was Weasle. I double checked by looking at Lone Raph And Cub real quick. He was named but the mob boss was not given a name unfortunately.

I would be so pleased if Big Louie makes a comeback as a competitor to the Purple Dragons and Hun. Especially if his design is kept almost the same with his big forehead look.

Also if Tristan's name came up (and he even posted here, which is awesome of course! ), I wouldn't mind seeing Razorback returning in IDW later. Tho he wouldn't make sense in City Fall, but maybe later, when Bishop already debuted.

Agreed. I thought he was one of the very few that would be easily transitioned into the black and white comics as the head of the mafia underworld. He is a sterotypical gangster and reminds one of the Godfather,but he is one who should not be left in the dustbins of history. The other mob bosses we have seen are goofy in some form or another but not Big Louie's character himself.

I always thought it was strange that Hun was already bullying Casey when Casey was a kid in the 2003 cartoon, but when you "fast forward" to present day, Hun looks exactly the same. I never thought of him as being more than 31 or 32 in the 2003 series... except for in SAINW, where he was really old.

I find it odd that the cover for this micro has already been revealed, but we haven't seen the cover for the Karai micro yet.

Hun was 18 in the flashback while Casey was what...like around 12? A 6 year age gap isn't noticeable between adults.
