Well, I liked her better than April because she seemed to have more of a personality. April is just there right now. Either she's complaining or explaining stuff, but, we still don't know anything about her. Not to mention, Irma's get up was so wild and interesting, one could only guess what her character would develop into if she was explored more.

To each their own.

Like I said, I never got that attached to "Irma" since we saw so little of her.

A character doesn't need to be there all of the time to have some interest. The little girl who had tea with Leo is a bit of a favorite for the fans on this show, and they hope she comes back, even though she was only really seen in one episode. Look at the following Mona Lisa from the OT has, and she was in only one episode.

What did Irma have - 10 to 15 lines total all season? How can anyone be so upset that she's gone? She was barely in the show to begin with.

Look, I realize this is your own opinion, but I still stand by what I said.

Because she was cooler than April! I miss Karai too. I wish it was April who was mutated and left in the city and Karai, never mutated, came with the Turtles and Casey instead.

What did Irma say or do that made her "cooler than April"?

honestly, i thought she was a great way to shine a lil bit of light into april's non-tmnt life. granted they didnt do too much of that, but on her own, she seemed to have quite a bit of character potential. i never really overly liked or disliked her, but my gf did.

my gf isn't a CRAZY HARD CORE tmnt fan, but she knows what she likes and is definitley a fan of the show. she doesnt follow the show online or behind the scenes or anything like a lot of us, but when the irma reveal happened, she was pretty disappointed. i was surprised, as i wasn't aware that she was such an irma fan and she told me it was for a couple of reasons i can totally see being valid for other people who liked her. first was storyline wise...she liked the idea that there was one character on the show that wasn't a super hero. she could relate to that. secondly, she liked that irma was representitive of a type of girl who was, i guess..."alt". she liked her style and really liked that she wasn't a stick and had a more realistic model in terms of body. she's also a fan of kate micucci, so she was bummed her voice might not be a part of the show anymore.

i mean, its true that irma wasn't a HUGE part of the show, but neither was the tea party girl or ice cream kitty, both of whom seem to have a devoted fan base. (my gf being a part of those, as well.)

* I'd ask him about what characters they won't bring back.

Are a few of you saying that you don't want any of those Irma theories to be true? And can we go back to the topic of this thread?

OK. Someone ask Ciro if he or someone who has been in charge of the past few episodes have some vendetta agains Raphael or his fans, or both? Because lately, it sure seems like it.

So I guess Irma has universal appeal to goes beyond us fans. You knew? Man, I would hate to be the guy who thought up the Kraang bot twist.

My cousin and her daughter both loved Irma. They just loved the whole sassy, glasses, streaks in her hair thing going on, and boy were they pissed when they saw what happened. The little one (she's 9) I had to tell her that was just the fake Irma, the real one is being held hostage, waiting for her Michelangelo to save her. That put a big smile on my little cousins face. I just hope this is true.

I would have gladly traded Irma for Krang SubPrime. The two minutes he was on the show were amazing and had me laughing all the way through. Finally, a Krang other than Prime that had a character.

Then he had to go and die. I understand it's Gottfried and you can't really keep him around, but dang...

I don't understand why Krang Subprime couldn't have been voiced by the woman who played Irma.

Very disappointed in that particular turn of events. Just when we thought maybe April could have some sort of a life that wasn't Love Interest or McGuffin...and it turns out to be a dude in drag the entire time.

I too hope that the real Irma is out there. It wasn't that I was a big Irma fan before she was revealed to be Kraang Subprime, it was that we had an established character that was originally in the original cartoon, and then she was just taken out of the show in a big sudden shocking moment. It seemed like someone who didn't understand character development or how to properly introduce characters just threw the Kraang Subprime reveal into the episode to get the plot moving. Now I am a big Irma fan. I understand those who didn't care much, since Irma didn't have that big of a role on the show, but I'm part of the group of fans who like her.

By the way, how was the marathon experience? Were the problems more apparent or did binge watching gave you less time to think about them?

My guess is that if asked about Irma at NYCC 2014, we will just get a "wait and see" answer. Irma might be out there, but only if there is a need to bring her back. Part of that need could be fan demand.

If she doesn't come back, then okay, but it would be nice if she did come back. Even if for just one more episode, to show that she's okay.

If the creators intentions all along were to have Irma be a robot, and then just to never be seen again but then are forced to bring her back because of fan demand (maybe Nick execs or Playmates could force the change) this could be bad because the creators just might take Irma and really bastardize her character as a final FU to anyone questioning their storytelling.
