The reptile woman is most likely a throw away reference to Mona Lisa, similar to the Ace Duck image previously. or the Venus reference. I don't see any of those characters ever actually appearing on the show. IF they ever do introduce any female mutants characters, it'll most likely be along the lines of Alopex.

Also, "Ahh, Alien Turtles!" Michael Bay reference, and the obvious "Go Ninja, go Ninja, go!" via Mikey.

One of my favorite bits though, was Leo geeking out, "Like Space Heroes." Other favorite part, virtually no April, thank goodness, I really hate her character in this show. She and Kirby need to go on a long vacation and not return for a long time. With the Kraang sub-plot on hiatus now, she's even more useless.

Pretty cool stuff. Not quite as dramatic as I was expecting, but it's for sure not the end of the Kraang. I absolutely loved the fact that KSP mentioned that they've been failing at this for thousands of years lol.

Kinda mad he died though... would rather have seen Kraang Prime get killed and KSP take over.

I like that Slash is a hero now. It wasn't Shakespeare or anything, but his character arc has been cool. He was initially bad due to Raph, tragically enough. His negativity wore off on Spike so much that when he became fully sentient the only logical course of action he sought was to off the other 3.

What was up with his mouth though? Looked like he went on a Cheetos binge.

This definitely isn't the end of the Kraang, but I do hope it's a substantial break from them and that they're gone for the rest of the season.

We just finished 13, so we're halfway through the season. Our first one hour special was geared towards the Kraang and that's it, so I'm hoping that the one hour finale will be geared towards Shredder rather than having the Kraang return.

Its rather interesting that Slash being part of the Mutanimals is because he sort of became an unofficial member of them at the end of the Archie run and he died along with them. I also felt like Merdude was going to become a Mutanimal if Murphy didn't kill them all.

I noticed that on Slash too, he seemed to be rocking some orange coloration around the mouth that wasn't previously there.

Despite it not being said, but because of its sheer awesomeness. Professor Ice Cream Kitty for the win! Amazing how one of the biggest joke characters in the series, has had more appearances than virtually any of the other mutants, and has become a fully fleshed out character in her own right. In one week there were not one, but two Ice Cream Kitty custom figures on the Figurerealm Customs website.

So Subprime has more screen time in this episode than in The Invasion? How did he even survive getting crushed by debris?

And why did Slash even recruit Pete? If I remember correctly, that mutant pigeon is not suitable for combat. He even cried out uncle when the Turtles pinned him down.

Pete could be useful for other things.
Such as flying around and spying on the enemy.

Pete would "attack" anything that a bread stick is thrown at.

Very well done episode, A nice Avengers-esque story, and I'm seriously hoping that this is the last we see of the Kraang for a while. Also, what the hell was up with that lizard thing in the trench coat?

Any one notice that the Mutanimals were all parallel to the turtles

Slash is the brute (like Raph) but he's the leader of his team like Leo.

Leatherhead also is the brute force on the team but more on par with Leo then Raph.

Pete is a spaz like Mikey

Rockwell is the brains of the team. It's good Donnie has someone he can relate to on an even level (kinda like how Donnie and Leatherhead were the brainiacs in the 2k3) but I hope it doesn't boil down to intellectual pissing contests everytime then encounter.

As for the Newtrilizer, he was wanting vengeance upon the Kraang. So now that the Kraang have been defeated, he is going to want to take out the people who he feels robbed him of his vengeance.

I agree none of my predictions thus far have come true. However Rocksteady and Bebop know the Turtles have Retromutagen or know how to acquire it. But they don't know the Turtles well enough to know who created it. And they also have captured Karai so Shredder will be wanting to have a way to return her to normal.

Now that the humans of New York have been restored no normal that would also garner the Shredder's interest as that would mean that someone has an ability to reverse Mutations. So perhaps the Rocksteady and Bebop would slip that the Turtles had Retromutagen and Stockman would say it was probably Donatello.
