That was so awesome, what a great start we're off to. & it's getting edgier, too!

I was so sure that chick Leo was talking to was Starly, based on her color palette... I wonder if we'll see more of her. I kinda hope so.

If the Federation exists, will Blanque and Zanramon appear?

W-What?

Well...I...I'm so sorry you disliked it that much...but...yikes that bad? How else were they gonna get earth back? Build a new one?

And I'd be pretty mad if I spent 5 million on something six kids just broke. He's a haughty guy so of course he'd be mad that they even touched him.
It made sense to me and I loved it a ton....but, to each his own I suppose.

A pretty decent way of starting the new season, and even though the time travel was soon, the six months rule and urgency about black holes still makes this a 13-episode journey that needs to be accomplished. I like the animation they used, from the language that the Fugitoid uses to the way the Turtles/April float to the effects used on the first planet. This should have been how Season 9 of the OT should have began looking back.

I'd love to see the Turtleoid make an appearance sometime this season, too.

Show Grade: 8.5/10
I wouldn't be surprise if the Turtles end up on a planet of the Turtleoids in Season 4.

I thought the episode was pretty good, The animation has very much improved.

The next episode will introduce us to Sal Commander and Mona Lisa.

Well, there's no other way to do it, but the way they fixed is based on the book. It just feels.... off putting to say the least. I didn't like the healing hands for being a cop out, but this feels like a cop out somewhat to me. I'm against these easy fixes; correct me if I'm wrong but didn't they need objects to reverse time?

Still, there's better motives other than crying over a spilled object. Money or not, I find it a laughably bad motive for revenge; I'd rather have Dregg get a better motive, it makes him so kid like.

Look, if you like the episode, kudos to you. I myself am critical on this show now, I have been against many things now compared to starting on the drome, but it's still laughable on the stupidity of the episode. Oh well, next episode I'm hoping for something good, especially since it's Mona Lisa returning plus the Triceratons. Hopefully....

Why do people say this?

It's not based on the book. It's the other way around.

Well, y'know, I can respect that. If there was any other way to reverse it, then sure. But...it's fine. I shouldn't have overreacted like that, so I must apologize.

And I gotta agree on those healing hands.. and the fact that the visuals were absolutely stunning.

Hope I didn't offend you, man

Kind of a pointless episode, no? I loved Tennant, April's spacesuit and gun and Dregg's design. Also LOVED Leo's Space Heroes stuff, season 1 really sold me on this version of him so it's good to see them harken back to that geeky, innocent aspect of him.

But other than that it felt like a huge regression on Auman's part. I thought he really stepped his game up in season 3, but this is more of his usual spastic, nonsensical, and convenient story plotting. The second act had some laughs but was just dumb as hell.

Rest of the season should be cool though, especially next week.

Hope so, I'm fairly sure that was Lawless... would hate for that to be her only episode.

No worries, all is good.

Now, does anyone have an idea on taglines for the poll?

Dreggs a violent crime lord of course he'd attack the turtles for costing him a huge amount of money.

Great episode. I loved almost everything about it and it would surely get a 10/10 in my book if it hadn't been for the stupid way of fixing the Earth in the first episode! That removed so much tension and emotional motivation for the turtles, and now it's extremely obvious that after the space arc that things will go back to the status quo and everything will be fine and dandy.
I don't see any other solution to the destruction of earth other than time travel, but in the first episode of the season? Really!?
Kind of funny that the episode began with the retelling of what happened in the season finale, only to have the new theme song recap yet again seconds later. Meh. Both did a good job of it.
But besides that stuff, spectacular episode. April's character was amazingly well done this episode, and I loved seeing that Raph and Casey moment fighting with the weapons. Totally a teenage thing to do.
Geeky Leo is back (I've been missing him!) and the space visuals are stunning. Actually, all of it is stunning. The animation is top-notch.
Tons of funny jokes, great voice acting. Nothing was annoying, even Casey.
Who was the person the episode was dedicated to at the end? It was really kind of them to do that.
I was going to give this episode an 8/10 for the dumb time travel, but now that I've thought about the overwhelming good parts, I'll give it a solid 9/10.

Don't forget, they've only got 1 shot at this and they will be under a lot of pressure, so this will get them motivated to stop Triceratons destroying earth and stop Shredder killing Splinter. If they make mistakes, then I expect there will be tension and become more emotional motivated.

Did the earth really get destroyed? I was under the assumption it was lost in a vortex like state, my knowledge of black holes is pretty sparse. So them retrieving the pieces and putting the planet back together seems plausible to a degree.

Or do black holes obliterate stuff instantly?
