This season has seen its ups and downs. The last two epsiodes before today's were not very good, in my opinion. Junklantis and The Golden Puck just did not live up to the season 2 quality of Turtles in Space or City at War. This week was a different story. Rouge in the House was a very good episode.

The worms are finally done healing Shredder and he is back in action. Was it just me, or did his suit look different? It seemed to me there wasn't as much detail in this suit as their was in his old one. I feel really bad for Karai since I think she sincerely wanted to keep her promise to the Turtles but can't because of her master. Maybe in the end she will team up with the Turtles against Shredder.

And what did I say about Baxter almost a month ago?

I sure did nail that one.

Once again, we see another video game exclusive character appearing on the show. First, it was Evil Turtlebot. Now, they have created what look just like the Foot Gunners using old Utrom exoskeletons. Although they didn't have their artillery on them today, they probably will next week.

The Triceraton was a cool addition, but I don't know how that will turn out. It seems kind of sad that the Turtles are dupping him into fighting for them. At least Don did help him breathe easier. When the Triceraton finds out what is really going on, he is either gonna be completely pissed for being used or extremely thankful that the Turtles helped him when he originally was trying to kill them. Let's hope it's the latter of the two.

How come on TV shows and movies people are always confused by the robotic body double cliche? The Turtles don't know which Splinter to kick when it is obvious that the robot has glowing red eyes. They seemed to be glowing pretty big and red to me. You think they would notice something like that or at least the real Splinter would be wise enough to say something that only he would know. Oh well. The Triceraton eventually ripped the Evil Splinterbot a new one, so it's all good.

They were a few good lines in this episode. I liked the one where Raphael commented on Splinter's rage. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Also, Leo's command to Mike and Don at the docks was the best line of the episode.

Surprising plot twists. Kick butt action. Humorous lines. That's just what makes a good TMNT episode, and this was a good episode. I can't wait for part 2 next week. I really want to see those Foot Gunners deal some destruction, not to mention more of Zog in action.

The Foot Gunner Ninja is a Boss in the new Video game from October 2003.The Utroms return to battle with Shredder. He might of meant a Utrom Invasion Force that is loyal to him.Or the Utroms decided the Humans should pay for the War.I think the other Utroms might turn evil and follow the Shredder. The Humans didn't like the Utroms well they were on Earth.

It would be funny the Shredder Utrom's punishment for his crimes is to take over the Universe.

I missed the first 5 minutes...I am guessing that brain is what is left of Baxter. part of the episode is what was missing from Return to New york if they wanted to make it very similar to comics version.

This was a good episode. Hopefully part two will be just as good or better. I was surprised to see Splinter basically get his ass handed to him. If it wasn't for Zog they would have probably had a hard time beating Robo-Splinter. In this case raw strength is what prevailed. Baxter is just getting ridiculous. How much will be left of him next time? I guess he might find some way to clone himself or something and possibly start the body part losing process over. At least I was fully awake for this episode.

Blood is thicker than water, I think - although he isn't REALLY her father... I don't know. I mean, I'm sure that in the show, she's going to go with the turtles, because they're big on honor, and she's just too cool to get killed by the turtles for sticking with a crazy utrom. Maybe she'll realize that her father has gone nutso and is nto following the path of a true ninja (which she seems to be very into) at all.
Is anyone getting a feel that Karai and the Shredder are a lot like Darth Vader and the Emperor? Well as you remember, Vader finally decided that what the Emperor was doing to Luke was dishonorable and evil, so he turned on him and killed him. I sense the same situation here. I really believe Karai will turn on the Shredder, because the Shredder will do something so horrible to the Turtles that she has no choice.

It really seems that she is going to turn against him.

Fantastic episode with a lot of action. I love the fact that the TMNT in this show decide when it's time to destroy Shredder. The TMNT don't want to be messed with and if you do, you're gonna pay. Zog is gonna stir some sh!t up as well! Rock on!

Although I am a little confused why Shredder would want Bush and Blair bots? Does he need the prime minister of England in his pocket to run NYC's crime rings? He clearly doesn't have enough power for a global takeover, so that can't be the reason. Besides isn't one Bush one too many already? lol.

Meh, felt off, mostly because too much stuff happened on screen. The Shredder retook control too easily. I also would have liked to see how they got Hun to rejoin the Foot.

Random stuff:

Okay, the Shredder's new, made-to-sell-another-action-figure armor has got to go. The original one was much cooler, and I hope it returns.

Baxter with the Shredder again? Dissapointing. It'd have been much better if we could actually see him on his own, for once. Less lackey, more power player, please. That being said, seeing him as a brain was pretty cool.

Robot Foot? Shades of the old cartoon. I really hope Hun was being truthful when he said there were only six Gunners, since I'm not fond of the development at all. The robot doubles have promise, though, and showed us a cool aspect of the Foot's operations. Here's hoping they actually follow through on it.

I don't think the turtles have anything to worry about with Zog. You just don't recover from brain damage that severe.

I see Leo was attempting to get Gray Fox rank while infiltrating the carrier. Good for him.

Poor Karai. Glad to she she's still around, though. I'd like to know if she's still the official head of the Foot, though, since it's still possible that Saki's return is still a secret.

Terrorist turtles, yeah!

I'm really curious about the Utroms returning, as Shredder said they would. What possible reason do the Utroms have to come back, especially since they most likely think Shredder is dead now? I suppose they could come back for Leatherhead, but other than that, I can't think of any reason they'd want to return. Unless they plan to reveal themselves, like in vol.4.
But I can't really see the show bringing in plot points from vol.4 of the comics, at least not yet. That was the first thing that came to my mind when he said they'd be coming back though.

the plot involving the presidents to be made robots of reminded me of shredder trying to make a hologram of the prisident in cowabunga shredhead.

The plot did show that shredder wants to take over the world. First he said he stands before the world and now he made robots of 2 members of the senate.

They had shredder theme backround music when they had the utrom get in shredder's body, activate it, have shredder's eyes lit up and had it when they showed shredder after the utrom got in.

I knew they would have that backround music. They always have that music when shredder appears. They even had it when shredder narrated.

Is it me, or is The Shredder becoming a lot more like the original TMNT cartoon version?

As for Baxter being little more than a BRAIN...of a SCIENTEST...

My god has it gone over EVERYONE'S heads that this could be yet another KRANG REFERENCE?

Scientest...Disembodied Brain...

...I need a life, that probably is'nt a reference at all

God, I hope not.

Baxter in a jar was actually pretty cool IMO. Karai is gonna hand Shredder's ass to him in the end, which will be super shweet.

I was thinking the same thing today, dude. They're definitly starting to get into this old-toon vibe. Even the robot-double idea was used in the original toon. Although someone made an interesting point in another thread- these similarities may be no more than mere cooincidences since alot of these ideas are just your average plot twists. Infact both shows may've been making homages to the same material that these concepts came from.

The villains being shown for awhile was nice to see. Seeing Hun talk with Shredder and planning things. Baxter reminds me of Mutagen Man, and I think that's what he will become. I loved this episode

Just How in the worl did Hun survive the fall from the tower? He should have been DEAD!! Or atleast Incarcerated by the police. More Importantly HOW DID SHREDDER SURVIVE? Who Found him? They need to explain. Its just straight up crazy wondering.

Other than that it was a nice episode. Baxter as a brain really surprised me. Glad to see the Foot Technicians are back, As well as the Soldiers and Elite. Its also good to see Shredder back as well. There was a hint somewhere in the episode that Shredder plans a global domination? How is he going to do that? He barely has enough power for that. His organization maybe around but it is still in shambles for the collapse of the Foot Empire In "Return to New York" and the 3 way battle in "City at War"

I knew Karai was gonna have to make some difficult decision in betraying her promise to the turtles or disobeying her Lord and master. I wouldn't be surprised if she kept divided loyalties hoping that noone will figure that out or if she tries to stay neutral.

Why would the Utroms come back in greater numbers? I mean if they see that their enemy cannot get to them in any way why come back for him?

Hun landed on the police car and groaned. Hun did groan when he landed on it. He may have just beaten the police officers and knocked them out before they could arrested him. They did not show much on how shredder survived. They showed the worms healing his flesh. I too think they need to explain how shredder surivived and who found him.

Shredder has his ways. That is a toughie to figure out since his empire is in shambles.

I don't see why the utroms would come back since they succeeding in getting back to their homeworld. On second thought. For a century 1000 years ago they had been trying to capture the evil utrom (shredder) and captured him to bring him in. But he escaped. Maybe the utroms will do what they tried to do 1000 by bringing him (the red utrom who is shredder) in for his crimes.
