Azure, thanks for the pointer on the spacing problem...Unfortunately it seems to be something Fanfiction.net is doing wrong. The copy I uploaded is spaced just fine. I don't know why its doing that. I made sure they were right and then reloaded it to no avail.

Y'know what, I had the same problem with FF.net!! My first chapter is all weird...parts of it being double spaced and other parts of it being single spaced. I've got no idea why FF.net is doing that, but it drives me crazy. Grr...

I upload in html, because if I uploaded in doc, FF.net doesn't recognize tabs or italicized words.

Do you manually enter HTML code? Or does your writing program do it automatically? I use Microsoft Word, and just save it as an .htm.

I use the "save as" option in Word, and convert the file to a .htm type. But FF.net seems to really screw it up when I try to upload...which is weird, since it only did that to my first chapter.

My biggest prob w ff.net is the fact that I have to respond to the confirmation e-mail thingy, and I almost never get to check my e-mail. So you guys'll just have to read my stuff at my site for now. *sai*

That's cool. But they send those confirmations pretty fast, so why not check your mail when you know you're expecting something? *shrugs* Doesn't matter really, as long as the fics are up somewhere.

I finished my sixth chapter! Now all I have to do is proof read it one final time, and it should be ready for posting. Man, this must be my longest chapter yet...

That's okay. You have no idea how many fics I have going that I just never get to finish. These things take time, and the only reason I'm getting this much out is because I have no life at the moment.
