Mike's novel in that issue is set in feudal Japan about a wandering warrior looking for his brothers along the way he fights a local warlord and rescues a princess. I absolutely love the issue, a must have for any Mike fan. We get to see Mike fight with both sword and nunchaku. Talbot's art in that issue makes for a very bad@ss Mikey.

Couldn't agree more. This was actually the very first Mirage comic that I ever read and it's still one of my favorites.

Since Mike knows very well how to fight with two nunchuks (which is kind of difficult for some) I he could easily be ambidextrous

Yeah they could be very ambi considering the massive amount of coordination (I assume) it takes to use two dangerous weapons at the same time.
I the world of film and animation, consistency is important but I know sometimes things are changed to get the right shot too.
They switch it up a lot and I know I have seen Mikey and Donny go lefty before
Specifically in the newer FF eppy with all the crazy time stuff. Donny drew something to send out in the mail and he drew with his left hand.

ive noticed that raph an mike are leftys where leo an don are right handed.

in the tmnt movie raph eats his cereal left handed an in the cartoon mikey colors with his left.

although splinter probably taught the tmnt to do everything with both hands so they wouldnt rely heavily on one

They are ambidextrous, all of them. They've all had situations where they've each used either hand. I think what's being asked is, which hand do they each prefer to use most.

Right. Whilst they are all competent with both hands, Mike is the only true lefty. The others are all righties.

Eating with your left hand is no sign that you are left handed. I drive, eat and walk my dog with my left, but I write, solder, weld and weed wack with my right.
