In Mirage volume 4 number 11, the Turtles march towards the event in order by age. First Leo, then Donnie, then Raph, and finally Mikey.

I think it is pretty much canon that the order is Leo-Donnie-Raph-Mikey.

I agree with this. The original 80s series introduces the TMNT in that order too. In the theme song, and also when Splinter was introducing each ninja turtle to April after he told her the story of their origin.

It wasn't till the new toon that the order got screwed up for what ever reason, and it's actually a pet peeve of mine.

I don't remember how the order went in the new series. All I remember is that Leo was first. That seems to be very consistant at least. Leo's first in everything. Even as the first selection in just about every TMNT videogame.

Anyway, regardless, the official order to me has always been Leo, Don, Raph, Mikey. It just makes sense like that. Not to mention that the colors of the masks actually transition perfectly that way. Anyone who understands color well enough would know that blue blends in with purple, purple blends in with red, and red blends in with orange.

Look at the CGI movide. When Leo was kidnapped... it was Raph who said, "This is what were gonna do. Well rescue our brother.. blah...blah..." It's like he is second-in-command.

Well ... maybe just like what the other Dromers pointed out... Blue, Violet, Red, Orange from the rainbow. It just makes sense.

Anyways, I've really thought it's Leo-Raph-Don-Mikey.

Any insights?
