You missunderstood what I'm saying.

And how is it silly to want what's shown in the episodes the reflect the box art, I don't think that's a far fetched idea at all.
Considering when they released the VHS tapes back in the day the covers reflected at least the title of the episodes on the tape.

It's not silly to WANT original toon box art, but to think they will start putting it on there now, THAT'S the silly part. And I'm sure it wasn't Lionsgate who made those VHS tapes. I loved the designs on the VHS by the way. Now that was awesome.

i have an old TMNT tape and it says F.H.E on it, and i don't recall Lionsgate being mentioned on it. might have to recheck that, when my copy of Planet of the Turtleoids shows up

yup, i wikied it and you're right. however i believe that at the time, when they started to release TMNT on VHS, Lionsgate didn't own them then. when they became Artisan, Lionsgate bought them in 2003

^^ Exactly. Lionsgate bought the F.H.E. library. But, Artisan bought it from LIVE Entertainment before that.

Oh my I am sorry about that I've said in a few threads that I'm getting ready to move very soon to California so things have been crazy here.

So don't take it so personally, I've got allot of pm's that I didn't get back to.

Also as I said I'm going to design some box art for the past sets for people to print out so it's really not a big deal at all.

I pulled this news item from tvshowsondvd.com. The following could potentially be the box cover art.

Personally, I thought Lionsgate might incorporate a Red Sky theme into the last few seasons, seeing as how they are radically different from the seven seasons that preceded them.

Guess not.

Anyhoo, discuss! What do you think of the box cover art? Yay or nay?

I just divided the run-time by 8 and it came out to be 22, which means no bonus episodes.

Maybe they really are saving the skipped eps for Season 10.

Some Season 10 eps were on the first DVD, but I expect all of Season 10 to be put on DVD again in its proper order.

I do hope those Turtle Tip shorts get included someday too.

And I'm not pre-ordering that yet, I'm waiting for a lower price. While I constantly make exceptions for TMNT, I try to never pay more than a dollar for each episode and bonus feature.... so I recommend waiting to see how it plays out.

Well, "Once upon a time machine" takes place before season five... but I do put my "Planet of the Turtleoids" VHS right after season five and it don't look too bad.
