So, I'd go that route. You get the controller you like, the better graphics and the connectivity to the GBA game.
Holy Crap!
Where can i get it and how much do i gotta fork over.

Wow................after checking out that video linked on the Technodrome main page, I hafta say, any doubts I mighta had about this game because of the fact that most liscened properties suck as games (i.e. anything Simpsons) have been thrown out the window. It looks REALLY good.

And furthermore, my recent aquisition of Soul Caliber II has further solidified in my mind the fact that the Gamecube controller will not be a hinderence on my gaming ability.

I think they were around 10 bucks or so, maybe a little more, and they carry them at BestBuy. (They do in town anyways, so Id check yours and then check the video gamestores, and if all else fails... Go online )

the GC controller is the SNES controller, but the buttons were messed with to make it work more egronomicaly. egronomic controllers let you play longer 'cause your hands won't start hurting. the only button that really dosent make sense is the z button.

I'm not even going to start on the normal xbox controller, other than this: microsoft says they spent a lot of money researching controllers, so i have no idea how they ended up needing to release a smaller controller state side.

I still like my old N64 controllers the most though .

Anyway, i've changed my mind: before you buy either version, go rent them to decide what one you like more.
I can get to the start and select buttons just fine, I dont know what your problem is. And its not like that on all controllers, on my wireless controller the start and select buttons are higher and toward the right.

I'm definitely getting it for the 'Cube. Yes, because it has better graphics. Yes, because the GBA connectivity is a nice feature. But mostly for the sake of nostalgia. TMNT games, in my mind, will always belong with Nintendo.

And you're from Michigan?

I'm in Ontario, and most GBA games are between $30 and $50, Canadian funds. Either your figure seems a bit off, or the stores you're looking at are ripping off their customers.

I also highly doubt it's gonna cost $40 bucks considering the console games versions are $40. It will probably be 25, 30 tops.

EDIT: It's 30.... http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=160370

I will just take the PC version.....I can not afford a video game system. It will waste my time and money. I am unemployed and working towards a master's degree.

I'm going to get the PC version because I don't have a Gamecube or PS2, but I would definately go with the Gamecube version if I had a choice. I like the GC controller much much better than that of the PS2.

I guess I'm pretty lucky to own 2 next gen systems. Over all I have 6 systems that I use, including PS2 and GC. The others being N64, Dreamcast, PS1, and Gameboy Color.

GC VS PS2

what I have noticed about certain games is that unless it's made SPECIFICALLY for the PS2 it doesnt always run as well or look as good. I have a PS2 and GC and I am buying it for the GC.

the better graphics being only one of the reasons. I think my GC is getting jelous of all the attention my PS2 gets.

but hey I have always beleived to each their own. and so depending on what system you own and prefer. just get the one that is right for you.

something i dont understand though is console seperation. Like if someone owns a certain console system, they are down on other systems. things of that nature. I have seen it alot and I really dont understand it.
so if anyone could enlighten me about this phenomenon, I would appreciate it.

I don't get it either, I'm just all about good games, and where the good games are, that's where my game loyalties lie. For a while, PS2 had the best wrestling games, so that got most of my attention, but now the new one for GC is pretty bad-ass, so between that, Rocky, Sonic Adventure DX, Zelda, etc, I think my Gamecube is gonna get most of the play lately. Til I decide I wanna play Super Mario 64, in which case the N64 comes out. Then maybe some "A Link to the Past" on SNES, or some Donkey Kong on NES.

I've always been partial to Nintendo but I'm more a fan of good games than anything else. I'll probably buy the TMNT game for the 'cube, but that's mostly because most multi-platform ports just seem to look and play better on GC than on PS2. It has nothing to do with system loyalty, I just think the GC version will be more polished (a lot of PS2 games clip and stutter a lot).

Like I have said before, it's not important how powerfull a console is, it's all about how good games it will have. Things like "consoles suck, PC rules1!!!!" or "My Xboks beats the crap out of j00 PS2!!!1!" I just consider stupid.

FINALLY!! someone else who really digs their dreamcast *pets hers*... unlike some of my other older systems.. I can't bear to banish my dreamcast to the closet... hell my SNES is still hooked up in my bedroom so I can play metroid when I cant sleep. or FFIII....

but yeah.. I know WAAAAY to many x-box owners that are down on me and my PS2... all i have to to do them is ask them what good games the X-Box has...they always say the same thing.

Them: "Halo"
Me:"........-_-..... that.. was a release title.. what else..".
Them: "Halo 2...."
Me:" .. uh. huh.. I will just be overe here..."

of course.. I don't want to buy an X-box.. but I kinda wanna play that extreem beach volleyball game.. I heard it's fun.

same here (even though im the one that does that the most ) but I only bought the ps2 becaus eit had a lot of the games I like, but Ive noticed that sooner or later those games make it on to the other systems in do time.
in most cases.
