Eh, the young whippersnappers...they don't know what the REAL good kid stuff was, they're being raised on stuff like "Spongebob Squarepants" and "Power Rangers" and...well, you get the idea.

My brother saw the new figures in Toys R Us and he wanted to see the cartoon and we both saw the cartoon and we both got hooked again. My little brother even made me dig out all of my original toys.

I've been devoted to the Turtles for a long time, albeit a bit dormant, I would check the official TMNT site from time to time, lost some interest in the old cartoon, but still bought comics occasionally as well as played with the figures, eventually I watched the TNM, and lost interest, but played with the figures etc. Checked the site from time to time, then stumbled across Mikey's TMNT site which was decent and fan friendly, and decided to devote myself a bit more to the turtles, then a new show was announced etc....

My adventures with the turtles has been a long strange ride that has never stopped but has taken detours from time to time.

About five/six years ago, after finding some of my old tapes in the basement, I bought four collections of the original Mirage comics from eBay. They gave me a new appreciation for the TMNT, I became a TurtleManiac again, and I haven't looked back since.

Ive always been a turtle fan ever since the first cartoon came on. I never got a chance to read the comic book and I wished I did. I visited the ninjaturtlesnetwork site alot back a few years ago, I found out the turtles were returning and when i saw the first episode, I was in love again!

Wow. Lots of kiddies here.

I've been a part of this fandom since 1996, and I really feel too old to remember what it was that happened back then to bring me into it. But I was always a fan since the first airing of the first episode.

I disapeared from the fandom for awhile but that was mostly because a whole bunch of other "fans" pissed me off, not because I lost interest.
