I'll keep this short, since my arms still aren't up to working this much yet.

One, LOVED everything concerning Karai. She is very quickly becoming one of my favorite characters on this show. Her internal battle really shows in her actions, and I can't wait and see what she chooses.

Two, Shredder's got new threads. Sorta. Nice, silver's a good color for him. And I think it's safe to assume that Hun knows that Shredder's an Utrom, and has known for a long while. And Baxter... fabulous. "One of the perks of having him in this state" indeed! LOL! I like Shredder's sense of humor, too. Not terribly original, but I love people who go for classic jokes like that.

Zog's appearance was cool, and it was amusing to see the guys, especially Leo and Mike, get into the whole "soldier" thing. And of course, Don doing "the right thing" by whipping up a breathing device was exactly the kind of thing he'd do. I mean what else could he do?

Mecha Splinter was awesome. Great fight scenes. Proof that no matter how strong or fast your robot is, it's only as good as the human behind it. They obviously hadn't planned for a brainwashed Triceraton! And Splinter getting that upset, was amazingly done, and I enjoyed Raph's reaction.

So much for shortness. Looking forward to next week! (Kinda. Sorta. Not really, only where this ep's concerned, really.)

The new Exo-Suit looked like Krang's with the size and the Top.Waits for the Super Shredder suit in Season 3.The Ship for the Head Quarters was cliched again.Put the Ship on Wheels or Tank Treads. The main Foot Headquarters must be on a Island or Japan. The Utrom Bio-chips part Hun said they could not make more wrong the Red Utrom is a Mad Scientist and a Utrom. He could make quite a bit more.

The other Utroms are after the Red Utrom because wants to take over the universe and enslave other species.Another Star Wars Rip Off in the New Cartoon. In Season 3 they need a huge tank for the Foot Head Quarters this time.Get rid of Baxter Stockman he is not needed. The Foot already have a Scientist in the Red Utrom.

I hope they release a playset based on the foot ship. That would mega rock! I have the lair, but need a place for my feet to rest

Back on topic, When did Shredder become a Jester?

You should have quit while you were still a head? Come on Saki.

Good episode for part 1.

Stockman as a brain was surprising, i guess he'll get that Cyborg body from Vol. 2.

Shredder's Suit Ver.2 was neat looking, I'm glad Hun is not arrested, he's too good of a henchman to go away.

Zog thinking that the turles were his troops was funny. Nice for Don to offer him some nitrogen & sulfer.

I notice the turtles turn Crazy Manny's Snowmobiles to Watermobiles. They kinda stole them and turn them into better ones. Nice going with stealing other guy's profits guys .

I wouldn't guess that the Foot Mechs will be Foot Gunners, and to think that it'll be those old Foot Ninjas from the old series that had purple masks. My rating 5 out of 5 stars, I hope to see a Zog Vs. Hun battle next week.

I loved Zog! Where is my Zog action figure? I need one right now!

I'm not sure if I'm really happy the Shredder is back. He just seems... really one dimensional to me. He is just hell bent on revenge. Shredder was a lot more interesting when he was still working is Saki personality. I doubt it was Shredder who ordered the President and Prime Minister robots to be built, because he didn't even know about the robots. I guess the explanation for that is it has always been Shredders plan to overthrow the government. I mean, he did terrorize japan for a long time.

Mecha splinter was interesting. I'm glad the "Which one is the real splinter" only lasted for a short time. They could have done a whole episode on something like that, and it would have been annoying. I'm glad it was such a short part, and that it allowed some quality Zog action.

Splinter getting so angry over a robotic clone of him seemed... so unlike him. I remember in season 1, he told Leonardo not to go after Shredder. During City of War, he told Leonardo not to go out and try to fix things, but now that he is hell bent it seems alright to just go and attack. The reaction just seemed very uncharacteristic of Splinter.

If I had to rate the episode, I would give it a 4/5. Too many little details got on my nerves.

But I can't really see the show bringing in plot points from vol.4 of the comics, at least not yet. That was the first thing that came to my mind when he said they'd be coming back though.
well I don't know if this is what they will do but in the TMNT Guide to the universe there was a very good short comic book that had the Utroms home world being attacked by the triceratons so perhaps thats why they will come back I sure hope so...sounds like a good reason to me. And it would be great if Zog was still around and they used him to kill Triceratons it would really crack me up lol....ooo and would also get to see hopefully the long lost Utrom Quadruped Robot Bodies I love those little things lol. I'd also like the chance at seeing some more aliens perhaps mr. Laird can get them to bring in the Utroms Cousins the very Octopus like creatures known as the Havelesh he posted a picture of one awhile back in his blast from the past but he called it octopuss mutant lol.
but anyways this story line would be really great if the technodrome people would allow it I'd really love to scan in the comic for everyone to see since it's not quite so easy to find.

Oh, I know. Still, the Shadow Goverment can be a very cool development, given good execution. Robot ninjas? Not so much, IMO.

Some interesting stuff I just thought off.

Does the non-replicateable control chip mean The Shredder has limited supply of bodies? Interesting.

Just How in the worl did Hun survive the fall from the tower? He should have been DEAD!! Or atleast Incarcerated by the police. More Importantly HOW DID SHREDDER SURVIVE? Who Found him? They need to explain. Its just straight up crazy wondering.
The lack of imprionment thing can probably be explained as the result of Foot intervention. His current healthy state, on the other hand...

i think those worms only heal wounds and don't restore lost body parts.
I don't think so. After all, Shredder's body was blown up, that's a little more than just a wound.

Anyway, I really liked this episode. The Shredder's new armor looks awesome IMO. I like the sleek look and I dig the white/silverish color.

I guess Hun is responsible for what happened to Baxter. Last time we saw him (Baxter), he was fine, I think. Poor guy. I loved how he still has his huge ego. I think he'll implant his brain into one of those robots. Then he can steal some artificial skin from the lab and he'll be ready for action once again. Him being just a brain and an eye is pretty cool (I was kinda freaked out when I first saw it), but he can't really do much. And I'd love to see him get his revenge on Hun and Shredder.

When I first heard there were gonna be robotic foot soldiers, I wasn't happy, but I think they handled it really well. I liked how they explained where they got the technology, and I also like the fact that there are only nine. I was starting to get worried the Shredder would have an unlimited supply of robots, wich would be really lame IMO. Nice to see they used the design of the Foot Gunner, I've always liked that design.

Zog was cool. I liked how he kept saying 'For the Republic!'. Whoa. He ripped the Mecha Splinter in two. Good thing he got the right one, huh? O__o
I hope Zog gets his sanity back and attacks the Turtles when they really don't need it, like when they're fighting the Shredder or the Foot Gu...er...Mechs or something. That would be cool IMO.

Anyway, great episode, I hope Part Two won't dissappoint.

Shredds new armor will proly come as a toy and have the little red utrom with it.

Is this proof that the shredder and saki and infact two different android bodies.

Where in the hell are my tech ninjas

these foot gunners might not even be "gunners", but just robot foot.

no casey or april.... damn.

this looks like a job for a three parter, too bad

Great episode.

Here is how it is with shreder and saki. In darkness on the edge of town shredder waves the sword in front of his shredder armor. In Shredder strikes part 2(tomarrow is the one year anniversery for that ep), Shredder takes off his helmet. Shredder gets beheaded in return to new york 3 and in secret origins 3 the utrom comes out of the shredder suit, in city at war 3 they showed the oroko saki android on the table, then yesterday's ep they showed the red utrom go into the shredder's body, with his armor on him, which was shown of him going through the suit.
SAki and shredder are the same bodies.

It is hard to say what happened to the tech ninja

No casey or april is diffreent. I think they are trying to leave april for the april's artifact ep.

My theory for the Shredder's bodies is that Saki is one body, and Shredder is another, but he can take the helmet off of the Shredder suit to reveal a saki head.

Man, I practically died laughing when I laid eyes on Baxter in this episode! I wasn't horrified at his fate. I was tickled senseless for 5 minutes! Then I got to thinking what I'd say if I were on the scene with him, Karai and Shredder.

Me: What the heck, Baxter?! Did you hand out the rest of you at a human body convention? Maybe we should give you a new name to go with your new look. How's about Laughing Stock?

Later on the scene,
Me: At least the rest of us don't have to go around looking like the *jerks head in Baxter's direction* Vermicious Knid from the children's novel Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator! *to Baxter* You should take up reading that so you can sharpen that last eye of yours and your brain will thank you!

At first I thought they were going to kipnap splinter and use the Robot Clone to track down the turtles so they can attack their hideout.

But it turn out different, the scene with the robot Splinter acting hurt made me think it was the real Splinter.

I'd say the same thing with Stockman.

Everyone has their buttons. If someone had used a likeness of you to try and destroy everything you held dear, you'd be pissed off, too. Also, this was obviously a direct attack. When Splinter told Leo to not go after Shredder and the Foot, it was because there hadn't been a "declaration of war", as it would be. And he didn't want to start one when they weren't prepared. The attack by Mecha Splinter was a direct strike, and therefore they had the right to retaliate.

That's what's so great about the Splinter in this series. He does get upset. He's more than just the "wise teacher who sits there dispensing advice and riddles".

The building was destroyed by an Utrom Implosion Device. Now, I'm no expert on Utrom technology, but I do know what implosion, as opposed to explosion, means. I think the building just... disintegrated. (Sorry, best word I can think of.) After all, there was virtually no damage done to the area surrounding the building. Theoretically, since Saki wasn't affected by the virus specifically, he didn't implode with the building. Still, I can't imagine it being a pleasant experience.

SOmething did happen to saki. The worms were healing his flesh.

The utrom even had a scarred look on his face when he yelled no when the timer showed 02 then 01.

The utroms even were scared when they said the building would implode and retreated then, and they also retreated because the army was trying to break in.

So it may have just mearly woulded shredder instead of implode him since it was utrom designed.

Of course a lot of damage was done. I certainly wouldn't want to get caught in any kind of implosion. It's just, we don't know for sure what the effect was on whatever wasn't directly affected by the virus. It certainly didn't "blow him up", but I'm curious as to what his state was when he was found, presumably by Karai.

Question:

In the original RtNY comic, did the Turtles offered Zog a Nitogen tank or did he just sufficate?

It's been awhile since I read the comics featuring Zog, but I believe it went down like this:

He didn't have a breather-tank. In the comics, the Triceratons have the natural ability to "adapt" to breathing new environments. This allows Triceratons to survive in alien atmospheres for limited amounts of time without suffering mental instability. But Zog had become delusional due to having such long-term exposure to our atmosphere.

If I'm wrong on any of this, anyone, please feel free to correct it.
