The one thing that hurt the prequels were it already had an endpoint it was supposed to meet. So we knew pretty much how episode 3 had to end to get to 4 while 7-9 do not have as much restrictions. Sure there is the expanded universe which might play into some fans perceptions of what SHOULD happen, but its future is not officially written like 1-3's endpoint was. There is inspiration like the Solo twins that probably leaked into the movie series and in expectations but Abrams and co. do not have to meet a certain point like prequels.

Rey is the Solo twin sister and Kylo Ren is her twin brother that falls victim to the dark side. He misunderstands the heroic sacrifice of his grandfather Darth Vadar and took up his cause. Perhaps under the direction of the one who created Vadar Plagueis. Just a theory.

I'm betting Kylo is Han and Leia's kid (Skywalker/Solo). Adam Driver is definitely a ringer for a young Harrison Ford:



And I'm betting Rey is Luke Skywalker's kid. Born of... some unknown mother.

I'm not really understanding the Plaguies theories...

First of all, he's dead and was killed before TPM. Secondly, Kylo isn't even Sith. He's familiar with the dark side obviously, but still not a Sith.

Most importantly, Snoke is supposed to be reptilian and HUGE if Serkis is to be believed. Let's not forget that Plaguies is a Muun, so he just wouldn't make sense.

I've not heard any of those. And I feel like I've generally kept my ear to the ground on Episode 7 theories and spoilers.

I've read that bit from Serkis and I could see how it could be misinterpreted. I don't think he's literally saying the character will be physically huge, but rather how his initial scene where he's not actually seen, it's big and he had to pretend a lot of stuff. It's very ambiguous in the way it's worded.

I hope Snoke's more like Malgus than anything: cunning, but also knows how to cut a bitch. I like how Palpatine had the whole mastermind thing going for him, and him not being that good of a fighter worked for him, but I hope they do something different and have Snoke able to hold his own and then some.
