And that costume still looks horrible.

Anyways, what I've been wondering: Why do they make such a big fuzz about it all when it's only going to be for a year?

I guess stuff like this doesnt bother me. because i know eventually everything will return to status quo.. spider-man will in one way or another lose the new powers. the organic shooters. and everything. it may take a couple of years but itll happen.

Yeah, but just like Zap-Superman (despite the fact that the idea and the look were kinda cool, it just wasn't Superman) it will leave a bad taste in the reader's mouth. If I was Marvel I'd have created another Spider-character with these powers. But sadly, they've just gotten Spider-Woman out of the limbo...

Anyways, I think that the websense, the sticky back and the organic webbing just might stay. They're cool and unique superpowers and they fit Spider-Man quite well.

I also like electric superman, but i was glad when the original returned. I dont think this will leave any type of taste in anyones mouth. it will be talked about like the clone saga, but everyone will get past it. its just foot note. a 1 year foot note.

You speak as if the Clone Saga was just a footnote, when in fact it killed the Spider-Man franchise DEAD until JMS took control, and then when the movie was released

Okay, the new costume premiered yesterday. And the issue was quite good, I must say. The costume can do all sorts of cool things, like infrared-visions and it has a gasmask included. It's pretty cool, I tell you. But it still doesn't look like Spider-Man. It just doesn't feel right. And Spidey can't fly, he just glides.

But the story was quite interesting.
