lol its just a song title that gives a shout out to 2 characters in turtles history. its not literally about them, its just a play on words because both names are not only turtle related, but music related as well (bebop and rocksteady are both music genres)

As long as that IS the case, I can handle that.

I should find them on MySpace.. but you can't listen to the song, right?

completely left field with this idea but i think they should have the song "second coming" by Juelz Santana in the movie. it is new enough to grab peoples attention and the song itself is a great fit for the rebirth of the turtles and the emphasis being placed on family. just my 2 cents

by the way here is a link to the song lyrics. take a look for yourself and see how perfect this song would be...

The lyrics down on paper make sense somewhat I agree, but after listening to the song, adding it to TMNT would be like using marilyn manson to do a opening theme to the Brady Bunch.

I wish they would add a good band to the soundtrack like Chevelle or Breaking Benjamin

ouch, i'm gonna ignore that comment, because those bands are good, especially Breaking Benjamin, some people have too narrow of tastes

Panic! at the Disco has only one fine song - "The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide Is Press Coverage". Now this one could be included in the soundtrack.

The rest is just boring.

yeah, ur kind of right there, but they are another one of those bands that takes an acquired taste, i'm sure if u listened to them enough too a few more of their songs would come off as "catchy" and stick in ur head, even though most of their songs are a bunch of repeated lines over and over....

Umm...Sounds a bit intense for Ninja Turtles, don't you think?

Most probably. I've listened to their album two or three times and liked only "The only difference...". Maybe if I listened more to this album, I'd get used to it and even develop some liking.

well panic at the disco is ...well i don't really know how to explain them, prolly a pop-punk rock type stuff, while chevelle and breaking benjamin are more of an alternative rock/rock band, cobra starship is kind of pop/hiphopish

I could possibly see Breaking Benjamin or Chevelle working, but it wont ever happen. Cool to think about though.

I agree with iris.

Yeah, I'm pretty out of my element for music 10 years old or newer... unless they're movie scores. '70s-'80s are my music decades. And the synthesizer/techno sound to a lot of '80s movie scores is a bit cheesy, sure... but it's so much fun to listen to.

I listened to an alternative rock station a few years back because it was playing in an art class... It was scary...

I'm pretty clueless on recent music, myself. I gave up on FM radio completely probably seven years ago, so I only hear new music on late night talk shows and movie soundtracks. I absolutely LOVE both of the Spider-Man soundtracks, because of both the type of music and how most songs have a loose connection to the story. If I can get anything like that out of the TMNT soundtrack, I'll be happy.
