The season final aired on September 27th (but aired a week early on Nick.com). The season final that aired last week was a rerun.

Oh so Fugitoid IS a time lord...sorta. I guess the earth being destroyed isn't a fixed point so they have a chance to change history.

That alien Leo was flirting with...My emediate thought was "Oh look...alien Twilight Sparkle..."

And what a way to piss off Dregg. *sighs* Yeah sure tell the king of all bugs that you like to stomp on his people. Also, uh Dregg...there's some certain Power Ranger villains who'd like to talk to you about being the ruler of all insects...

The finale premiered on Sept. 27, technically they put it up on the website as soon as Dinosaur in Sewers! ended on the 20th.

So it's been a month.

The Season 3 Premiere aired a week after the Season 2 finale aired, but they also ran off 6 straight episodes after that. Though I don't recall anyone making anything of it when it happened either.

Well, I thought I was the only one. It's more like Equestria Girl Twilight Sparkle.

I never thought i'd say that but this version of Dregg is really interesting! Way better as the old version. Even i hate bugs with my life and can't stand them, something of his character makes me like him . If he is a recurring character in the space arc i can life with that.

The whole time-travelling was meh in my opinion but some things never change probably.

It made sense to me and I loved it a ton....but, to each his own I suppose.
Also in the Star Wars Universe, Spice is a kind of drug. So that sort of gives a new perspective on what Dregg was actually buying.

Can't believe they actually got away with so many things in this ep!

"Check me out April! Hehehe... two for the price of one "

Also this could possibly be poking fun at the occasional animation errors in the OT where two of the same turtle were duplicated on screen:

This episode was awesome. Loved Geeky Leo and Flirty Leo, too. Also loved their reaction to the space suits, the introduction to Lord Dregg, and their exploits on that fueling station. Needless to say, they didn't fare so well, and now they have to deal with a Triceraton fleet again. Loved the opening narration by Leo. Made me feel like I was watching the 2003 series and I loved the flashbacks to what happened before. April's space suit was awesome, and I laughed at how Donnie and Casey reacted and how she reacted to them ogling her. Tennant is awesome as the Fugitoid. Can't wait to see if there's some Doctor Who references next time. Overall, a pretty awesome start to season 4.

Bring on the next episode.

Haha, I thought it had that SWR look and feel about it as well.

That said: Awesome start to season 4. From the get go, not a dull, boring or non entertaining moment.
I thought that the S3 finale was going to be hard to top, but I think they pulled it off. They also packed the show with so many elements. I know you all spotted them, but stand outs for me were Fugitoid (David Tennant) doing the time travel, and April showing up in the yellow jump suit, with the laser pistol where her camera used to be.
The credit change is also really cool.
I was expecting to like this arc, but I didn't expect it to be quite so good.

As someone else said, bring on episode 2 !!!!

The animation is good, but the writing is so awful I want to skip the entire space arc.

I face-palmed when Donatello immediately knew how far back in time they were just by looking out the window from an angle he has never viewed Earth from before.

The concept of "localized" time travel is beyond stupid. Yes, you could have a little bit of gravitational time dilation but then you just time travel farther away from the source of the gravity. It's a silly way to build tension, and it doesn't, because they've spoiled the ending in the first five minutes. If you can only do it once, they're going to do it. Now they have the daunting task of making it interesting.

Which won't be done with made-up words and ignoring simple things. You don't just send a bunch of kids into a strange market without some money and a few ground rules. That would at least give us a reference for how expensive things are. But no, the kids need to be stupid so the show can introduce Dregg, who again, is pretty much spoiled in the first five minutes of the show when April mind-kicks his butt.

But whatever. Stuff! Things! Let's sell some toys.

This was fun. It was nice to see Leo be a fanboy about space again. I felt like some of the episodes were getting less fun last season so it was nice to see everyone excited and ridiculous again.

And I love April's camera lazer!

How is that stupid or awful writing?

If a person knows it takes one full year for the Earth to make a whole revolution around the sun, a person can figure out how much time has passed based on where the Earth's revolution is. That's like common knowledge.

It's not stupid a person knows what time it is by looking at where the sun is in the sky. Classic westerns do that all the time, is that awful writing too?

Maybe it's you just don't understand things. Don't blame the writers and act like they don't know what they're doing or talking about just because you don't get something.

Ah Dregg, from main villain to some guy who's probably just going to be an annoyance at best.

Anyway, I can see why Ciro thought space was a budgetary nightmare, so much stuff was just painted in, they probably didn't have the budget to render it in CGI so I can expect a lot of that type of "cheating". It's not so bad when it's the backgrounds but the food stand and aliens really stuck out like sore thumbs, it's way more distracting than when they recycle assets and that already bugged me.

Can we talk about Mikey's face right after Fugitoid bitchslapped Raphael.

He's like, "Wanna laugh. But can't. Mustn't. Daren't."

Maybe they're just getting you more used to an 80's background.
