I watched this episode last night for some reason i didn't enjoy this episode as much as the others. I did enjoy the part where Don named the t phone thing instead of Mike i was getting kinda annoying how Mike would name everything all the time.

I have been quite pleased with the humour and the action thus far in this series. I've been disappointed with the lack of story development though. It seems like every week there are new enemies and new problems but nothing is really getting resolved or even moving closer to being resolved. I think they have enough problems and enemies by now and need to start dealing with the ones they have. I also am not a huge fan of the new theme song. In fact I think of any of the television theme songs this one is the weakest. (including 1987, the next mutation , 2003, fast forward, and back to the sewers).

Really? This song is the weakest? Compared to the audio compost heap that was the 2k3 theme? C'mon dawg.

did forget to mention that in I think 'metalhead'it was that raphael had another comic in the beginning when splinter is punnishing them, on the cover there appears to be the cowboys from moo mesa...thought you guys get a hang outta that...they seem to be favourites around here...(cant understand why though, where there ever comic of them perhaps, I only met them briefly in some tmnt tales issues..and i think that old mirage ot character bullhorn was based on their design maybe..?)
I don't think the character seen on the cover at the end of ep. 7 is The Rat King, the character on the cover in ep. 5 definitely looks like one of the C.O.W. boys of Moo Mesa though.

They had their own series with Archie comics but it was short-lived, they also had a cartoon which lasted 2 seasons.

When you say the character "bullhorn" do you mean Groundchuck?

Maybe you're right. I remember that it took me a while to warm up to the 2k3 theme, maybe my perspective will change after I give myself some to get used to this one.

While I didn't hate the 2K3 themes (aside from Fast Forward), I think this theme is awesome. I thought I'd hate it, but I don't. It's got a great throwback to the FW theme, and the end pose is a throwback to the comics.

When I found out Jeffery Combs had voiced Dr. Victor Falco, it made really wish that my locale Best Buy would be open so I pick up Re-Animantor on Blu-ray (I live in Brooklyn, New York and I got hit by Hurricane Sandy. The Best Buy buy me was in a small shopping center by the water and, they had gotten a really bad flood. It is unknown when they will open again).

I apologize if this was already mentioned, but I love the choice of actors that Ciro Nieli and co. are choosing. If people are going nuts that Jeffery Combs was in a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle episode, I can only imagine fan's reactions to when Cassandra Peterson makes her guest appearance and for all we know, who else are in store to appear ?

I thought this was a very good episode. I love the foreshadowing of April and the more episodes I watch, the more I continue to love Splinter. Dr. Falco's blood shot eyes were pretty sick.

I also like the film poster that was behind the flow chart of Don's plans to hangout with April. The Space Hero's poster was a lot like Star Treck: The Motion Picture film poster (I know the show is a parody of Star Treck, but I like the show's nod).

Also, a huge praise for Rob Paulsen as Don. I really love Don in this incarnation.

@VaughnMichael: I actually thought when the monkey's eyes would bugle out was creepy so your not alone.

My two favorite shows currently on: American Horror Story: Asylum and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

I recorded it because I was out of town and just finished it. So a mad scientist mutated a fellow scientist into a monkey and this guy looks like Mitt Romney and sounds like The Question. Odd indeed!

I'm not sure if this is a appropriate or not, but in honor of Jeffery Combs being on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:

I'm not sure if anyone else on here collects or have horror action figures, but when SOTA did there Now Playing line (a figure series devoted to horror, science and B/cult classic films) they originally was going to do a Herbet West figure as part of their series 3 line. In fact I had two figures from series two (Baron Harkonnen from Dune and Meg Mucklebones (which I actually regret getting rid of) from Legend) and they advertise Re-Animantor in their next series. Series 3 was going to not only have Herbt West but Captain Blake (from The Fog remake), the Jigsaw Killer from Saw (which ended up being in NECA's Cult Classic series) and The Leprechaun. The Herbet West figure ended up not being released with SOTA canceling the line.

AMOK Time was going to release a 12 inch Herbert West figure but that also never got released. I was hoping they would so that AMOK Time would release a Herbert West figure. I don't know why this guy has no luck becoming an action figure ?

I was thinking Reed Richards, but yeah. Mr. Fantastic is also a scientist, plus he (inadvertently) mutated his team into superheroes. Given the fact that the TMNT universe has always shown a lot of love towards Jack Kirby, it could be a nod to that character.

Incoming Transmission...

I don't know, I didn't really care too much for this episode. I feel like I got enough of Donnie last episode and I've been waiting to finally see Nick's Shredder in action. I hope the build up is worth it.

End Transmission.

I really hope they do. Would it be too much to ask if they have a button that plays the theme song like the actual one in the show ?

I found the Turtlecom toy from the 90's to be pretty lame. If they make a T-phone hopefully it has better entertainment value.
