Im pretty sure that isn't a mistake, the show is so rich in detail. Im sure we will get explanation.

Hmm..Leo with Sais..COOL!! And I know I'm a little late, but the scene where he covers his eyes, immediately reminded me of BLOODSPORT, where the guys master teaches him how to fight without the aid of his eyes, and then that asian dude throws some stuff in his eyes when they fight, and the guy ends up whoopn some ass!

actually it looks like a mistake to me. they probably just got the colours mixed up. you will notice that he has no strap, don and mike are in the background, and raph is nowhere to be found. also, it would be raph's nature to attack before don and mike (and i doubt leo would fight before them in his condition). they probably hid leo anyways. i'll bet it is a mistake, and hopefully they'll fix it next week.

Another Great Episode! This one was one of the best so far! I love the effects and the mood these episodes create. The rain effect is always awesome and makes the show so much better.

That has to be Raph in the Mask. My guess is they hid Leo to save his life and wanted to confuse the foot or something. If they had Leo fighting in the next episodes, I would be really dissapointed. I know it's a cartoon, but a turtle can only take so much abuse!

This new series has to be the best animated program on TV! So much time is taken for it, when a show is well written, drawn and produced, it is from love, not just a job to get a cartoon done. The people animating the series take serious pride in what they create and that is just truly remarkable!

If it's not a mistake it doesn't make any sense because Leo is in no condition to fight.

Gah, I finally get to leave my review. Unfortunately, baseball was on at the time TMNT came on. Fortunately, they played the episode immediately after the game. And from the reactions, it seems I'm the only person in CA who saw the episode yesterday.

I agree that it totally rocked. The fight scenes between Leo and the Foot blew me away, but my favorite parts were in the apartment with the others. Mikey's antics were great, even the burp; couldn't help but laugh at that one, but I loved everyone else's reaction to it more. I loved Donnie's "velocity challenged" comment.

As for next week's episode, I'm not really sure what to make of all the theories. Is it Leo with sais? Raph in Leo's colors? An error? Guess we'll have to wait until next week.

My take on the Mask thing
From what I'm reading Leo spends alot of the ep in and out of Conciousness, so its possible that its part of a flash back leo has about his training when he was learing the sai (since I have no idea what happens around the still I'm just guessing on everything before and after it

Really good episode. One of the best ones, so far. Great comedy (Mikey's belch....Don and Raph clapping.....then Don saying, "I can't believe I just clapped for that.") Leo was great. At the same time, though, Leo really got beat up. He looked terrible at the end. Next week's episode looks explosive.

I'll indeed post a pic with both Leo and Raph in it. If you notice, in the preview, Leo is hurt throughout it, and gets his butt kicked with the sais.

I'm certain this isn't a color palette swap error...it's 2003...they don't make these mistakes anymore. My theory is this.

Because Leo's swords are broken, Raph loans him a pair of his old ones. Because Leo doesn't have the swords, he doesn't need the shoulder strap. At the end of the episode, he gets the swords of a foot soldier or something.

Thats what I've tried to say. Level of detail in the show is to high for a mistake like that to go unnoticed.

Level of detail has nothing to do with how many errors are in it... it it is a mistake, they'll probably fix it before the episode airs anyway. They've changed stuff between the previews and the episodes before.

Yes it does. It goes to show that the animators really get into their work, and trust me, there must be a person who makes sure there isn't mistakes like that before the ep gets into air.

Awesome awesome episode. Is it just me or does the new fight music really bring you into the action? I just loved everything about this episode. If this show continues to pull of episodes like this...I don't think any of us have anything to worry about when it comes to many more seasons.

Yes, but some people might be disapointed since Shredder might not be there. Music in the new show is just great, it isn't just 4 diffrent pieces replayed again and again, altough there is some re used music to. It's a sure thing that the team behind the show will make it good, no matter how many seasons. Problem is, if next season doesn't get the ratings of Fox box up, they might quit.

AH-HA! I saw it. First of all, that is Raph with Leo's mask in the preview for next week. You can tell by the way he's standing and the look on his face. If you need further proof, then play back the preview on tape. Slow it down while Shredder is fighting Splinter, and you can see April taking care of Leo in the corner of the room. It's kinda hard to see because the preview moves so fast, but it's there.
